Well, once one is finished I start the next one. By having it at the begining of the posts you can skim over it and decide if there is something you need to look for if you are way behind.

Or get confused when you come upon one and don't remember reading any of that!

Hopefully I won't be in that position any more. Today, here I come!!!!!

You guys, I think I'm going to have to go to the dr soon. I have been having consistent headaches (usually progressing to migraines) almost every night for quite some time now. I kept thinking it was just stress- but it's every night? I don't have stressful schedules EVERY NIGHT- yanno? Then I thought it was on the computer but it's happening even if I'm off the computer for almost a day and starting up before I get on the computer. It's kinda scaring me. I'm popping tylenol every night and usually it does nothing. I had some migraine stuff awhile back that worked well but I'm out of it and keep trying to make do with tylenol.



(so anyway, if I come across as cross with anyone or snippy or whatever... I'm blaming it on the migraine. 'k? seriously...)

I hope it can be taken care of.

My DM suffered from migranes her whole life. She went through tons of testing but to no avail. Truth be told, stress is only one thing that can trigger a migrane. Prescription meds do the trick typically, not over the counter. Have you changed anything in your diet recently, like dropping caffiene? That can definitely trigger major headaches. Hope today is headache free for you!

I've been trying to skim...
I can't possibly comment on all of the stuff I've read, but to those of you still waiting for room assignments/dining switches... and that they get it all together soon. I know it has to be frustrating to not know what's going on!

As for the migraines...I get them too.
Fortunately, I CAN take Imotrex. The last few I've gotten have been textbook with the aura/nausea to start, followed by the light/noise sensitivity, followed by the pounding headache. They are not fun, and it basically takes you out of life for a good portion of a day...and then the next day it hurts to wash my hair!! (almost like my scalp is SORE from the migraine!!)
My doctor had me all over the place trying different meds, but the Imotrex is the one that we stuck with.

Well, I'd better try to look busy...My boss' boss' boss' boss (or something like that ) is here in the building today helping upgrade some software, so the last thing I need to do is be chatting here when there is other stuff I should be doing! Be back in a little while when I go to lunch!

Oh, and I have to share that I have a mani/pedi scheduled for tonight. I figure with the crappy last few days I've had lately, I need it...

I don't think we're going to get assignments anytime soon. I'm becoming resigned to it - as long as I have a place on the darn boat I'm happy. After all, this is a "TRIP OF A LIFETIME"

I agree. Let's look at this from a business perspective. Why take the time to make all these assignments when some percentage of folks (10%?? or more??) will not fulfill their reservations. It makes much more sense to just assign these extra GTYs after the 90 day payment window. Now that payment window is about 13 months and 1 week away. Since, my business folks are busy helping with current cruise (within their 90 day window), I'd rather assign my limited resources to current & immediate issues than something that is 18 months away.

I just called the Castaway Cay number to check on my WLE. The CM said that they did have availability for 6pm dining and said he switched for me. I'm waiting to see confirmation on my online ressie.

Im on WLE and they havent moved me yet ....I even called and the CM said they werent doing that yet ...

I really don't think they have an organized crew at DCL.

Well at least they are moving the early dining WL people rather than giving the new people the early seating.

Lets put a stop to this unconventional wisdom in procedure here! All those waitlisted folks (harumpf) got their savings already... and <chuckles> .... it's time to put in a catagory stratified auction based priority system in place... so all us porr saps (get it... poor?) can get some decent treatment for everything else,... like consideration to get their desired cabins (yeah... I kno... the WL folks got their assignments when they paid)... and the dining choices, and so on.

<chuckles>.... OK... so anyone listening over there at DCL? <chuckles>

Now I gotta run the kids into school... gotta make the cognitive circle time in 15 minutes and then the K-school sit down before early lunch there!

my goodness....i've been away from here for 2 days, and i think there is well over 100+ pages posted since then. noway am i gonna be able to catch up on all them, so i guess i'm off to start reading the recaps.
hope everyone is doing good. i'm so glad it's over the hump day!! friday can't come soon enough!!!!!

Can you do anything to link your reservations?

I know people do that for dinner, just not sure if you can do that for rooms.

But then again, if you're WL, it may be you get what you get.

I'm sure the rooms are linked, although we do have a different res # for each room. The Cat 11 that got assigned is our friend's, who is traveling with us. If we aren't right by her room, it's not a big deal, but I hope that the 5 of us will be close to each other. It will make it easier on us getting ready each day. Plus, we'll all be hanging out on the Verandah in DW's cabin.

Aww, my son would be upset if Rita lost more before him too (because he's just competitive that way- even about things that make no sense or can't be controlled. *sigh*) but I don't think he has to worry about it... who knows when Rita will lose a tooth.

I can't believe how much Ruby's is out though. I mean that thing must have been grown out in the hollow part of the baby tooth before it fell out or something. Within hours the thing is almost completely grown out and we're talking MOLAR, not no thin front tooth. LOL

Oh snap. I need to see if I have cash for toothfairy duty tonight! I almost forgot... have to scrounge up something out of the purse and I don't usually have much cash on hand. egads...

(she still pretends to believe because of the youngest who still believes. We don't talk about it. We just pretend so she gets the money and Rita still gets to believe just as they did at that age. Yanno? LOL I know both my younger two will be asking her how much the toothfairy left her FIRST thing in the morning.)
