This is my first post for this thread. For those who do not know me this is me with The Captain and Andy:

Welcome, We have a common interest in photography. I have enjoyed viewing your pictures over the years and look forward to metting you. pirate:

No worries. I think I can speak for the wenches in saying we do NOT want to see that parade!

That's the point. Anything to disrupt the party. :scared1:

Everytime we go to brunch, there is always one guy you don't want to see in a swimsuit walking past Palo while you're eating. Then there's also the ones with their hands to the glass trying to look in. Pretty scary site if you're by the window.

party:

:bday: Happy Birthday Nicolette! :bday:

Captain, I was wondering how you would eat on the night you were dressed up in your garb!

To those that mentioned not dressing up for formal nights- we're on the fence on that one too. I'd rather not bring the formal wear for all of us, or even DH & myself (especially because there will be more than 2 formal-type nights, 4!! and certainly we can't wear the same clothes 4 nights :confused3 But the only thing is, you have to dress up to get the lobster that night, right? Decisions decisions.

Love the mug, verandahman!

Captain, I'm lazy and will be purchasing shirts from ya. I'm not sure I like the back like that though- (for me! I think it looks great for everyone else LOL) only the "give nothing back" will show on my back (because of my hair covering the rest). Like I said, unless I lose a lot of weight people might be talking behind my back saying that lady NEEDS to give something back. :lmao:
The only thing is I WOULD like to learn how to do the iron on transfers myself primarily because of the size thing. It's so hard to order for a family of 5, sight unseen on the sizes and have them mailed to us and get the right size for everyone, hope no one (kids I mean) grows between the time we get them and time we cruise, etc. So it would be easier to learn how to do iron on transfers and do those shortly before the cruise- then no problems on making sure the shirts fit properly!

Swabbies, please do not wear that swimsuit! *hiding my eyes*

Hi! I'll try to catch up this weekend, but um, yeah, we booked. :) We're in 6135, cat. 11, but who cares, we'll be on the ship for 15 nights! Of course, since both DH and I are looking for new jobs, if something comes up and the new jobs won't let us go, we'll have to back out, but for now, we're going!

I don't believe the lobster care what you are wearing. ;)

Thanks.

I look forward to spending time with this group. It is a bit overwhelming to see so many posts in such a short period of time ..... I do have to work some.

This is my first post for this thread.

I have good news and bad news:

We are going on this cruise (good news)

We are on a WAITING LIST!!! (bad news):scared1:

My DW (Annette) did make a deposit for a Cat3 room which put us on the prime waiting list and they will call when any room opens. She gave them our cell phone number and told them to call anytime!

I read the Cliff Note version of all the posts but will probably try to read many of the full posts to get to know you all.

Looking forward to this cruise.

Welcome Brack :welcome:

OK..... You guys are BUSY! 1018 when I finally caught up last night and now 1052. You all make it hard on us working folks. Guess I 'll hae to read the summary.
Paula

Ok, I think the girls are getting hungry! Hmmm..what can I give them.:rolleyes1

O.K. Swabbies, here's the plan, we do the Swabbie swim suit parade around Deck 10 aft at the time of the Wenches Tea Party.

You always get at least on guy walking past during Palo brunch, but if we can get 20 of us, I think we can get a constant flow.

Here's the swimsuit we can wear (and it is DIS green, just like the Wenches want):

Wow, the idea of having high tea at Palo's with a bunch of wenches was fun, but to add the prospect of such eye candy during the meal . . . who could resist?

Got our confirmation in the mail today from DCL.:cool1:
Paula

Speaking of liquids...Do any of you Wenches enjoy tea? I love the High Tea at Palo and it would be really fun to have a Wenches Tea Party if there are enough of you interested.

Lisa, put me down as the Wenches Tea Party organizer!

Count me in for the Wenches' Tea Party!

I used DU as well. My response was, "DCL can assign the stateroom at anytime but chances are it will not be until just before the sailing date." Don't get me wrong, I'm not unhappy with DU at all! It just makes me wonder if DCL drags their feet for the TAs who've booked and satify their direct bookings first. Truth be told, it does make sense.

Look at it this way...maybe the "upgrade fairy" will sprinkle a little pixie dust on those who wait the longest? pixiedust:

I got the same email...imagine that;)

WOW

Lisa I just went back and checked out the first post. It looks great. Looks like I'll have to keep an eye on that first page.
