Thanks! I know he'll be wanting to go to the Lab, but I think his sister may want his company in the club. Maybe we can find her a DIS buddy to keep her company.
I really, really really REALLY, wish they'd change that to 8-10. Seriously... 10yr olds usually relate better with that age group than 11/12yr olds! Atleast around here. We're talking a difference of, at the time of this cruise, kids going INTO either 4th or 5th grade (depending on their birthdays) with kids going into 5th, 6th or 7th grade (depending on their birthdays). Versus if they were with the 8-9yr olds... it would be like either 4th or 5th graders with kids going into anywhere from 2-4th grades depending on their birthdays. I just think 10yr olds would relate more to the younger kids than the older. Maybe that's just my kids- but it might also have to do with the fact that around here kids are in elementary together with younger grades down to K, so they are used to that. They are NOT used to being with the kids in intermediate or middle school grades.
Or maybe my kids are just immature. I don't know. LOL I just cannot imagine in one year (one year older) my son in a group with kids up to age 12... my oldest just turned 13 in Jan so I think I have something to compare it to. Imagining him one year older hanging out with the kids in her school in her grade right now (some of which aren't 13 yet)? No way... huge difference in maturity level there.
