Well, now that the dust has settled down, I will be joining the "Escaping Moms" for 15 days of fun with all of you.

I live in Central Florida and have cruised on the 2004 10 Christmas Cruise and the May 2006 Double Scoop (Blabbermouths) Cruise which is where I met the other escaping Moms. I missed their Grand Adventure last fall on the 10 Day Wonder, but my family has graciously agreed to let me be a part of this adventure.

At cruise time, my DS will be getting ready to start college and my DD will be starting High School. My DH (Scuba Diver) has agreed that between he and DS they will make sure DD gets set at school as well as one of them driving her to Gymnastics (5 days a week - 45 minutes away) each day. I am truly blessed to have such a supportive family.

It will be fun getting to know each of you. :cool1: :cool1:

:wave:Welcome! Welcome! Welcome!

This is the bracelet....I didn't look yet to see where I got it, but the more I look at it, you could do this with almost any bracelet. Just attach the clip to it

That's a great idea Stacey! Perfect for those days when you're wearing shorts w/out pockets.

Dumb question Verandah Man ... But did you actually count how many posts each user had :teacher: or is there a way you can get a tally?

My hats off to you if you counted!

PS .. Stacy .. I love the bracelet id ... Where did you get it?

OK, I can't believe I just did this, but I had to share this with a "few" of my closet friends, LOL!!!

I just got a quote for the 5 day sailing of the Magic on 9-1-08 for just Hazel and I in a cat. 11, if I can swing it, and pull it off, I'm going to use this as a surprise 33rd Wedding Anniversary gift to her. The price came in a just a tad over $1200, I first got a quote for a cat. 9, but since it would just be the two of us, the $$ saved from a cat. 9 to a cat. 11, would help cover our tips for the 5 nights.

Can you imagine 20 nights on the Magic in a row and three stops at Castaway Cay within days of itself!!! Talk about your back to back cruises, I think my retirement date of June 1, 2010 might be extended, LOL!!! :rotfl2:

:wizard: Wish me luck, I think I'm going to need it!!!!!:wizard:

Oh Andy that sounds so great. She'll LOVE it. I hope you can pull it off.

Diane I wore the pin you made me on my lanyard everyday! I loved it. I'm looking at it on my lanyard hanging here right now!!!!

Aw thanks Mary Rose! I'm glad you liked it! I think someone had posted after we got back about lanyards w/ cards that a Disser made that were really awesome but I never saw a picture. I also wear a lanyard throughout the day & switch to a little purse I bought at the Straw Market in Nassau.

see close cpt. first mateys..the v. man...and the depends topic
he was talking about. p.s.....the crew you 'e bravely taking on,
you be needing practicing the "barking :dog: orders".. as this may
be overwhelming ..with an awful-naughty bunches of beautiful wrenches...
me voluntary to help 'um out of predicments..just say the word!;)

ms. lb g. , have you chosen your wench title?...may i suggest
ms. 2- stepper wenchie..."out to kick the cpt.'s booty"-for fun and
rewards. here's my input for a dis. meet...a class on country western
dancing class...are you bringing your boots? just :rolleyes1 . i'll
invite my good friend john. t... no,not the bluebeard the pirate:!

one can imagine, the hottiest ticket during the whole cruise!

someone asked the differences between cat. 8versus9...sjimmer
my gullett...me thought it had the amount of free rum being given?

me too, :yay: watching the puppy bowl..this year iam rooting for
our very own..."jack" russells! :cheer2:

justyM>"?" we tooooy, enyoyed the mousketeer & princess nights

recollections { hollering } , i have no problem hauling around a jar
of dirt! maybe refer myself to the "dirty pockets/clean heart- bucneer"?
or since iam just a very simple guy..just bucky, pocky? me thinks, going
to need help, lots.

I don't have enough room in my suitcase for all the rolls I'll need for 19 days (counting the first few in LA)! :rotfl:

That's awesome that you are down 35lbs! Congrats!!! I am doing WW on my own & I've really been doing good by keeping track of my points every day. Last night we went to Panera & I ordered Tuna & lettuce on whole grain thinking I was doing good. I got home & looked up the nutrition on line & it said 870 calories & 44 grams of fat!!! :scared: OMG i could've had McDonalds for that! :sad2: I will never again make the mistake of eating without finding out the nutritional facts first!
