DD Patricia who wil be 9 at the time of the cruise. Anyone with kids out there looking for a pen pal, just let us know!!!
Thanks for the warm welcome! I found our cruise paperwork in the luggage. We're in rooms 7080 and 7082. At the moment, our cruise includes me (Kim), DH, DD13, DS9, DD5, and DS 1 (children's ages are ages at the time of the cruise).
DH let me make the reservation just in case we're able to afford it. Now we're just trying to figure out how to afford it. We're DVC member and have points, so that will help bring down the cost.
Any DVC members made their reservations using points yet? How does that work with the points charts not being out yet?
We're hoping my brother and his girlfriend can go with us. It's not fun paying adult fares for children. DCL isn't particularly friendly to families of 6.![]()

Hi, we are new to this thread, and all I can say is WOW. We just booked this cruise on Friday (thanks to someone who opted out, we were able to get a Cat 6). We were originally sailing on the Med cruise on 7/28, but had to cancel due to personal reasons. So we are DEFINITELY in for this one.![]()
A little about us, my name is Debi and my DH is Dominick (a/k/a) Micco. We are both 47 and live in Staten Island, New York with our 2 DDs (Alex and Briana), currently age 19 and 16. Alex will be 21 by the time we sail, and Briana 18 (graduating from HS in June).
I am going to try to start catching up this thread (not sure which way is the best to go backwards, maybe...) and will email all of our info this week. I can't believe there are over 700 pages already.
We look forward to getting to knowing you, and we are really excited about this trip. We did the Mexican Riviera 2 years ago, and met a really great group of people whom we have stayed friends with.
Debi
Our older DD will be 9 also, and we have another that will be 7. Many others have registered per post 1 on Page 1 of the thread. We'll probably hold off on telling our girls for now, it's soooo far away.

OK, I can't believe I just did this, but I had to share this with a "few" of my closet friends, LOL!!!
I just got a quote for the 5 day sailing of the Magic on 9-1-08 for just Hazel and I in a cat. 11, if I can swing it, and pull it off, I'm going to use this as a surprise 33rd Wedding Anniversary gift to her.

We normally have our return by now also but we couldn't file online until today because of a couple of late IRS changes. And our is also going straight into the "Trip of a Lifetime" bank account!![]()
Oriental trading has some great stuff for pirate parties!![]()
Same here... Although after getting back $6,000 last year i upped my number of exemptions at both state and federeal on my paycheck so we would keep more of it during the year.
Good Morning Pirates!
Couldn't post yesterday because I had to have my toilet(turlet) replaced to the tune of $500 smackaroos!and then I was off to my office Christmas Party. I know, I know a Holiday Party on 2/3, don't even ask!
Anyway, I am completely caught up and darn proud of myself too!
Welcome to all the new cruisers!!!!
Congrats on 2000 Captain!
Score another for the wenches for snagging 10,000. The fact that she is sailing on the WB Repo is completely irrevelant but totally hysterical![]()
Andy you are a true romantic! Congrats on the anniversary too. What a great surprise for Hazel.
Andrew thanks for all the great info you've been providing for the Repo. How is DD and DW feeling?
Lisa got the email and again thanks for the enormous effort!
SK8 so very sorry about your pup. It's devastating to loss a pet.
Lil Grumpy you brought a tear to my eye as well. What a good dog!

you think we can hit 100,000 post before we sail?

The price came in a just a tad over $1200, I first got a quote for a cat. 9, but since it would just be the two of us, the $$ saved from a cat. 9 to a cat. 11, would help cover our tips for the 5 nights.
Can you imagine 20 nights on the Magic in a row and three stops at Castaway Cay within days of itself!!! Talk about your back to back cruises, I think my retirement date of June 1, 2010 might be extended, LOL!!!![]()
Wish me luck, I think I'm going to need it!!!!!
