There is a taskforce looking into a bus from Disneyland area hotels to Port which includes liquor/store stop.

Now you are asking, it was recommended by Princess, I remember it was in the modern part of the city, ''Pierino Gallo'' you went up a couple of stairs in a marble square building, I will have a look.

I think it was Columbian Emeralds, I know diamonds international were there, and they are everywhere in the carribean and more reliable.

Princess said not to shop outside the Pierino Gallo area, if going by taxi ask for that and insist

Thanks for the info Andrew. The gem salesman I talked to said that it can be hard to spot flaws in an emerald that is in a setting. Was your wifes emerald set ?

When we went to St Thomas on our 10 Night Southern, I spent lots of money in a camera shop on lenses because they were VERY cheap. If ou remember, I then had them stolen on our last night in WDW after the cruise.

I'm hoping that we can all meet there that day too! I was trying to look into something inside the park, but they want to charge each person for a one-day admission, regardless of whether or not we already have passes. Maybe something in Downtown Disney or at one of the hotels would be good.

That's a possibility, but a room in one of the hotels will cost & I'd rather spend $ on the ship.

For anyone planning to be in DL anyway, it would be fun to plan an evening to get together and watch Fantasmic . . . if you want the section where you sit near the river, you have to get there early anyway and that would give everyone plenty of time to chat . . .

For those of us in the park, this sounds like a great idea. Count us in if it's Saturday night.

I am hoping if the trip goes as planed that we will be in DL on the 16th. Is Fantasmic different bet DL and WDW?

It is different the same way pirates is different - same outline different details. Worth doing if you haven't done it before.

Cherie and I gave the girls a coupon for a puppy for Christmas so today we finally found one at a local adoption. He is only 6 weeks old so we can't take him home yet but it was fun to see him. He is a mix but probably has some lab and maybe some cocker.

OMG!!! He is so cute. You should be able to take him home at 6 weeks, why aren't they letting you?

Had a bit of a chat on this thread with Julie last night,

Headaches are still there now and then, but slightly better, Blood pressure last week was 145/90, so high but had been 158/95, this is cuased by Steriods, I am on a diet, so that is helping, 7/8 pounds off in first week, staff will check me on Monday for this week.

I am seeing various doctors over the comming weekes starting Monday 21st, they are checking everything nearly at the same time to see the reason for my blood disorder.

DW, is good, thats the first Christmas in three without any problem, so that is good.

Any constolation I used to have 210/180 bllod pressure after I was diagnosed for Cancer. I was on blood pressure pills for 5 years. I had lost 50 pounds and got off blood pressure pills for 2 years now!!! Now I am far from skinny and could still loose another 40 or more but sure made a diiference in blood pressure!!! Mine now runs around 115/75.

Weight does not help high blood pressure.

I am soo glad to hear DW is doing so good now!!!! I can't wait to meet her!

OMG!!!! I forgot about that!!!!! I did not know that you bought camera equipment in St. Thomas but I do remember you lost your camera at WDW. That is why I sent you a DVD!!! I think we all must be aware of our surroundings at all times no matter where we are.
We were mugged in Chicago 40 years ago with knives. I am very aware of my surroundings from now on!!!
