Frankly, I don't know WHAT to do... she's become more and more powerful with each passing day and hour! By the new years' eve I fear there will be NO Stopping her ever...!!!! Hmmm... the same thing has also been said of me... go figure?

For the longest time, I thought I was going to cancel this cruise that I tried so hard to book. Now we just got off Magic for our first ever Xmas cruise and I was talking to DH about booking New Year cruise for 2008. So I said that what about the 15 night cruise, he said that why don't we go?!! He tought I have already cancelled it. He works A LOT even while on the ship, he racked up so much internet and phone charge while onboard for this past 7 night night trip. So I thought 15 nights will be way too long for him. I was so surprised that he loved it so much, he originally was the one totally against it saying why would he ever want to be on the ship for 7 nights, this and that....

So the next step, I would love to join the Dis group, there are 4 of us, but I can't find the place to sign up.

They did test me for that Arlene, but it was negative. I don't know if that's one of those things that can test negative but really be positive? I heard Lime Disease can hide. I need Dr. House!!!

I've heard of people visiting many doctors before they found out what was wrong with them. Maybe you just need to find your "House"

And now - I'm going to step out to run couple of errands. I was to have shipped the secret Mickey / minnie / holiday exchange gifts that came into my possession recently - but alas I did not. They will go out tomorrow if I can find a post office open AFTER I drop off Alicia and the kids at Knotts. SO to anyone still trying to catch up on this ... you're not the only one still finishing up. This is fer SIL and Mrs. Scooby .... sorry about the delay but I was obviously struggling with my encroaching illness while in San Diego and knocked on my tail these past two days. Tomorrow I hope to catch up before the new year is upon us!

Just got an update from our cousins - It seems we're not gonna do Knotts after all and they want to take a day to relax and will hang out close to the hotel tomorrow to "talk story" with us. So its' going to be a relaxing new years eve for the most part.

Don't worry about the Secret Mickey, I'll enjoy it when it comes I did have sinus infections a long time ago and they were very hard to get rid of Lots of water (especially hot herbal tea), rest and vitamin c

A little video from Christmas morning. This should be titled "What NOT to do when you have a skull fracture!" I was so afraid he was going to hurt himself. He did have to rest for an hour before being able to play though.

To set it up, DS got a few Wii games and a note from Santa stating that his elves could not find any more Wii systems out there, so Santa would have to owe one to DS. I had been telling him for months how hard it was to find a Wii, so he wasn't too disappointed. So after all the other presents were opened, I sent DS into his room to put his games away. Lo and behold, there's a Wii connected to his TV with a note from Santa saying "Gotcha".

Not sure if DS really still believes in Santa or not. I think he really wants to, but is questioning it due to things he sees on TV and movies. I saw a thread on the Community board and many people were bashing the fact that a 12 yr old still believed in Santa. To me, kids grow up so fast these days, let them have a little fantasy as long as it will last.

I rarely do anything, its amateur night on the roads and stay close to home. Neighbor across street having party.

You are so right!! We always call New Years Amateur night for those who do not know that is not the night to go out and drink!!!

Anyway, I just bought this on Ebay for Kev. Bit pricey (50.00) but I can quit looking for it now. I figure he can wear it with his black suit.

I love it Debi!!! I bought DH a tux and two plain tux shirts with black and gray bow ties. I might have to go shopping on E-bay!!!

Yeah, I guess you wouldn't know, although I've mentioned chunks of it during the last 11 months! We rented a cabin in Talkeetna, Alaska & spent the day hanging out with the locals. We went sledding, played in the snow on the river, had family-style dinner with the folks staying at the Talkeetna Roadhouse, then we went to a bar/restaurant & played ping pong and pool. I love Talkeetna, I love the locals, it was just great fun. We want to retire-retire there (as opposed to military retire). It was just a really good, really low-key, but really fun New Year's Eve. And Talkeetna is so small that we didn't have to worry about driving.

It really is a small world. I went to a Diser's house last night and was actually going to meet the person who is having the DCL Party near our house. She is about 8 miles from here!! She got stuck in the village where I live so I did not get to meet her after all. I did send her an e-mail to see if I could get an invite!!! LOL Thanks for always looking out for all of us Andy!!!

I've been thinking (don't hurt yourself Deb!)....I don't really relish the thought of spending $70.00 to have my hair done in the spa and I'm not very skilled at doing hair and make-up. If I were to bring my curling iron and posssibly some make-up, is there any wench that would be willing to help me out? Maybe we could have our version of a "Princess Party". I'll volunteer our stateroom.

I'm a total clutz at styling hair or applying make-up so I'm in need of this kind of help too I was thinking of bringing some large curlers and a hair clip, maybe a straightening iron

Well if this does not meet every single tacky criteria I do not know what would. I had PM'd the DIS'er who lives very close that mentioned they were picked to do DCL party a few weeks ago asking if I could come. I had not heard anything from them so I just PM'd them again asking if they were not going to have the party if I could just swing by and pick up a Guest Party Pak. Ok, Tacky or what????
They PM'd me back asking if I knew what was in the packet. I copied and posted what is posted above and sent it to them. I have not heard back yet. They probably think I am crazy!
I told them earlier the subdivision I live in and it is less than 3 miles away so it's not like they think I am going to rob them or anything. Jees! I just want the free stuff!!

Ok, now I don't feel so bad inviting myself to someone's party Actually if they aren't going to have the party they should give out those party packs, especially to DIS people who ask

I stopped in Macy's tonight to see what they had and I saw that brown one that Deb was looking at (except in Navy blue). Did someone say they were going to get that one ?
I'm taking my fashion consultant with me tomorrow (DD10-Kelly) to try some on. Her Dad is no help with clothes shopping
Of course, if DS (Andrew) really annoys me tomorrow, I may take him as well (he's looking over my shoulder right now )

That's pretty much what I did. They had it in a bigger size,but I would have had to alter it. So I bought the smaller one(1 1/2 inches smaller in the waist) in hopes that I'll lose it before the TOAL.
