OK... I was in the middle of drafting this and I fell ASLEEP! OK... I'm awake again now <obviously>...

OK I admit it, I do as well!

I had to pause to google this... asd I didn't know WHO this person was...

Although my older daughter has seen High School musical - I have NOT. Well, actually I have seen a few minutes of it - but never the whole thing from beginning to end. And even if I had seen it... I almost NEVER pay attention to who the actors and actoress are. Unless, of course, it's something Star trek, Star Wars or Sci Fi... or maybe if it's a popular thing with me on cable.

Anyways - now I need to turn my attention to my replies to the 7 questions. I've edited them in with RED....

1) Tell us something about your spouse we probably don't know...?

My spouse is psychotic about never revealing her weight. It's so charming sometimes - while at other times she is deadly serious about her secrecy.

2) Have you considered any new Years' resolutions? If so, would you like to share them?

As others have mentioned... I need to eat better and gradually increase my exercise levels

3) When you proposed or were proposed to last - what was passing through your mind silently? Anything in particular worth sharing?

I remember thinking why doesn't she awswer?

4) If you have a PET... what did he or she do the last time they were "naughty"?

Sugar is always stealing sweets. And when you scold him he shuts his eyes and sometimes licks his chops.

5) When was the last time you were sick more or less? What did you comedown with?

Right now -with a cough, aches all over and sinus head pressure.

6) When was the last time you got a ticket (moving violation, infraction or parking)

Ran a red lite a few weeks back.

7) And for the final question posed in 2007 ... by popular demand.... Tell us something about you we (probably) don't know... !

Good Morning All, I see the DIS is back up and running and much faster as promised!!!

I see the DIS clock is only 5 minutes off this morning, better then the 45 minutes off it had been before the server change last night..........

Andy....if you have been reading the posts.......can we please impose on you or Todd to chage your post on the first page??? Usually all the important info is on the first post. Since we can not edit the first post.....would you be willing to edit yours???? Maybe this way we could give peole a chance to sign up on web site or at least have access to the pirate site???

My spouse and I never took any serious ballroom danincing classes... except ONE ballroom dance class we took 23-24 years ago in college. As such, we just sort of shake it up in a spontaneous style all our own. BUT... ONE DAY... I'd like to take a series of real ballroom dancing classes with my dear sweet spouse.

OMG Not much time to post but this struck me funny!!!

But for the fact that I moved about 2 years ago and the 2 companies are equal distance from house, it would have been correct.

WE ARE IN!!!!

For the longest time, I thought I was going to cancel this cruise that I tried so hard to book. Now we just got off Magic for our first ever Xmas cruise and I was talking to DH about booking New Year cruise for 2008. So I said that what about the 15 night cruise, he said that why don't we go?!! He tought I have already cancelled it. He works A LOT even while on the ship, he racked up so much internet and phone charge while onboard for this past 7 night night trip. So I thought 15 nights will be way too long for him. I was so surprised that he loved it so much, he originally was the one totally against it saying why would he ever want to be on the ship for 7 nights, this and that....

So the next step, I would love to join the Dis group, there are 4 of us, but I can't find the place to sign up.

None that leap to mind - oh, just remembered - to keep a diary beyond the 20th of January

When I proposed to Helen on 31-August 1990, I remember thinking "I'll have to do this again in the morning when I'm sober"

Our dog Eira "nipped" Helen last week in her desperation to get at the postman

On the Wonder during the Southern Caribbean in September 2006 I had a very bad chest infection that resulted in me hardly going out of our stateroom for two days and also me walking out of a Palo Brunch

6) When was the last time you got a ticket (moving violation, infraction or parking)
I've never had one and I've only ever been stopped once in the UK. However, in the USA I've been stopped twice - once for speeding (the police office found my Driving Licence too complicated so he let me go and the other occasion for driving without lights - easy mistake, I just forgot.

7) And for thefinal question posed in 2007 ... by popular demand.... Tell us something about you we (probably) don't know... !
I'll tell you three - 1) I have a collection of over 500 ties and wear a different one to work each day. 2) I hold the record for being the youngest ever elected Borough Councillor in Wales prior to local authority reorganisation in 1996. 3) I am qualified in Public Speaking - something I did many years ago with the English Speaking Board

OK, after much searching I found out what our quote was on day #1 of booking:

Gty cat. 9 total for 3A 1C(17) is $7212.96

This is how it has always worked for me. I just switched categories on one yesterday and that was the case. Whatever the current price is the price you get. Also, if you add someone to the room, they are priced at the current price, even if you are not switching categories or changing anyone else (in other words, the first people will stay at the rate they booked at but the additional people will pay the current rate.).

yeah...

... last time I did a last minute ADDITION to a cabin this past October the cruise line placed it at the prevailing rate - while the existing folks remained unchanged. A catagory switch should be as Tracy says should be taken as "the gospel" truth.
