8/17/08 Captain Jack's Repossession Repo Cruise to PC thru TPC Part 2

Well that won't be true this time!

I never knew about the board til two months before my second cruise!!! It was sure nice to know a lot of people before we cruised. It is not that I don't like my DH.... but it was nice to talk to other people too!!!

DD is celebrating their anniversary so I get to babysit!!! They are married 4 years and have two children.. They did not waste anytime making me a grandmother.

I let Roger know but I got the same 11:00 no-go email. I said 1:00 was fine w/us.

Apparently in Florida they have a law regarding abandonment of property - we were 15 feet away getting food at a buffet!! With this in mind, the police weren't interested, eventhough I could see my property in the back of someones car.

After the police went I went back into the restaurant, grabbed the thief, dragged him outside, took him to his car and gave him 30 seconds to give me my property back or I told him I would break his face and legs (I was so angry I would have). By this time Helen was screaming at me to leave him alone as she had visions of me not returning to the UK the following day and spending some time in a Florida prison.

The thief started crying, returned my camera and lenses and begged me not to tell his manager what he had done.

I was so relieved to get my kit back, I agreed.

I think that is the first tme I have written this down but I have not given the name of the restauant or the name of the thief - other than to say it is part of a chain and in the LBV area, near DTD

Can you actually request a server in the dining room? We loved ours ...he was a riot!

We had Hement as our server on our cruises last summer and he was AMAZING -- so I plan to find out if he is on this one and ask for him if he is. I can't begin to tell you how many special things he did for us, so we asked for him on the Med repo after lucking out and getting him on the Med cruise. However, some other Dissers had terrible service, so it is hit and miss, unfortunately.

Do the servers work both late and early dining ? Maybe we can ask for him too

We've never had REALLY bad servers, just not great Besides, the servers we had back in 2006 seemed new, so maybe (if they are still there) they are better now
