and crashed the system, feel sorry for the cruisers who wanted to book Palo and Shore trips last night.

Well, It's not too bad if no one could book them. Just a pain to keep trying.

Well, I am trying to get my rear in gear and head to work early this morning. We are celebrating Christmas today at 2 with my dysfunctional side of the family. Adam keeps asking not to go. He got his brow pierced yesterday and he is worried they will tease him.----I told him he should not have had it done then. (If only I would have thought of that excuse along with the 10 other ones I gave him:sad2: ) ST

1/ Government are in a bit of a 'tiz' over this loss.

2/ DCL down for days must have major programme or server problems.

My DS had that kind of a job with Sears here. He was responsible for the home improvement telemarketing departments and when there was a problem day or night or holidays, he had to scramble to get it fixed asap. They would remind him how much money they were losing hourly til he got them back up and running.
Speaking of work, I need to get myself ready. Catch ya all later.

They should make an announcement as to 'when' to be fair to all.

In a fair world that would work. But you can't really expect them to call everyone:confused3 . I guess they could post a message for **/**. cruise, you may make ressies beginning at this time. Or I guess you can call in and make your ressies.

 Happy Anniversary Paula
 :santa:  :santa:  :santa:

Thanks, Tracy. My anniversary was October 27th. Roger and I discovered in chat that we were married on the same day--and I am thinking it was in 84 also.:rotfl:

That is when he should have reminded them how much he was making and suggested a raise.:rotfl2:

But I know when our cash registers or gas console go down and we are waiting for service--it does cost. I hate to get the bills, but just thankful to be back in service.

Oops! I guess I should read more clearly in the morning LOL :rotfl:

No , I was thinking when they get the website up to put a notice on that, saying you can make them from say 9.00pm that day.

Its all down to money in the end, DCL must be missing it.

Though everyone on those sailings are in the same situation so if it is open when the system comes back, they can all start booking. I know it doesn't seem fair to those who waited until the last moment to pay their balance only to find out that DCL can't process the payment yet, but that's life sometimes. What I wonder about is when this will catch up to the port. Yesterday was fine there (they must have downloaded the information before the system when down), but at some point it will catch up there. I know someone that just got off the Wonder today who was not able to rebook onboard because the system was down the whole cruise.

I'm Innocent! Innocent I tell you! Those wreaths are not hanging in my dining room. Um...I mean...I did not take those wreaths! I AM INNOCENT!

I presume they have contingency arrangements and download or back up cruisers information for up coming cruises just in case, not good if you cant rebook on board, Presume you would express an interest and they will call you when available and give you the normal offers.

Happy Birthday Tom!!!

Happy Birthday Roger!!!
