Now how much have the rates gone up? Was it worth it is my question?

Thanks funny story I just called Chuck and told him all about it. I had 17 staterooms listed for a cat. 6 I wasn't prepared for anything else. The woman tells me on the phone she has ONE room left in a cat. 5 and I am trying to find it on the DCL website to see where's it located. Chuck was laughing so hard then my brain started working and I said out loud what are you doing? I don't care where it is I will take it.

My TA called at 8:05 and said she had been trying but could not get through online or on phone. I quickly jumped online and thanks to the 10 T-1 lines we have at work - I got right in.
Bad news is I got the lowest deck for a cat 10. I got 2583 for 2 adults and 2 children for $8019.00 w/ air and transfers. I am assuming tax too.
Got a level 6 for parents but no room assignment. 2 adults w/ air was $8833.00.
Hopefully when the dust settles I will be able to move cabins or get more info.
Lord! I am exhausted.

I am having DU book - good news is my nerves would be shattered by now if I were calling myself - bad news is she told me the website/my account info wouldn't be updated until later today - so I have to WAIT to see wha tthe deal is!!!!! Yikes!

I think I am eventually going to have to do some cleaning or something for the time to go by!!! - but then I will never catch up here!!!

I was just thinking . . . if they are starting to run out of rooms . . .and we put a request to reserve a room while on board (1/13 Western), will our room be there when we call? Or will be just get what's left? They said they would call and never did . . . Did anyone else do this?

Oh, they just offered to let us leave a message and they would call us back . . .LOL. . .just like they would call us before 1/31 . ..

Hi guys, I was able to grab a cat6 and cat11 across the hall. They are not directly across the hall, but I am hoping more open up as the holds expire.

A reservationist told me when I got through, that no calls were able to process before that time because the system went down and they had to log back in. So the only ones that went through the first 20 minutes or so were the online ones. Problem is, by then, the tier pricing went up, and alot of availability was gone. I had to transfer my onboard reservation or I would have booked online.....oh well, at least they let us transfer the onboard booking benefits.

I'm in limbo- in suspense to find out from our TA what we were able to get.
What we wanted is similar to what you got- we want either a Cat 6 (or cat 7 if that isn't available) with a cat 11 across the hall (but I told her if it was a few rooms down that would be fine too- didn't have to be EXACTLY directly across the hall).
Do you mind sharing how much it end up costing you for the cat 6 and cat 11 and how many in each room (adults/children)? Cause the suspense is killing me. All I see is what is online NOW. Supposedly the TA is calling first thing- and I hope they get my reservation and I also hope they get it before the prices go up! But they aren't taking calls from 8-noon because of working on this with all their agents. They said to expect calls about it at noon. Can I wait that long to find out if we're on the cruise and what rooms and how much? I don't know!

DH just called me and I told him I don't know anything yet - I'll call as soon as I do. Hopefully one of us can continue to lead a normal, productive life for the rest of the day. With the online ressies, Alma told me, DO NOT book. Just hold the cabin number till she could get into the sytem. You would loose the OBC.
