After Cold Case there was absolutely nothing good on, so I poped in POCDMC. Got an hour into it. There are still somethings I can't figure out!

The thing last night was a thing. Chatted with the Governor for about 30 seconds. The best part was that we had VIP tickets, so we got in 1 1/2 hours before the riff-raff. (Again let me stress - this is very much a medium-sized fish in a very small pond situation!) The best part about the early entry VIP thing?? No lines for food! And the food was good. Oh, and we got souvenir Inaugural Ball champaign flutes.

Just because you guys will appreciate it - I was wearing my gold Mickey stud earrings & DH had on his Hidden Mickey tie. (I don't think the governor noticed.)

Norton wouldnt get this off the computer ....I use aol safety and AVG

I have used AVG for years. Did you do the recent update or are you using the paid file?

On the TROJAN....

It looks easy to fix. But the easy way is to use Norton after an update. If should work... You can get Norton FREE after rebates this time of year if you do your own tax prep and buy software. Or - it can be got easy enough for a low cost. I would stick with Norton if I were you. Although the others usually perform fine - the interface and market share are dominated by Norton - IMHO.

A previous computer we had Norton on crashed. I don't trust it personally. AVG found things that Norton didn't when I compared them.

Crash, do you know that you can pay the difference for the toy that the kids really want instead of getting a bunch of junk? I found that out last year. It is basically a penny a point/ticket.

Long ago lived a seaman named Captain Bravo. He was a manly man who showed no fear in facing his enemies. One day, while sailing the seven seas, a look-out spotted a pirate ship and the crew became frantic. Captain Bravo bellowed, ''Bring me my Red Shirt.'' The First Mate quickly retrieved the captain's red shirt and whilst wearing the bright red frock he led his men into battle and defeated the pirates.

Later on that day, the look-out spotted not one, but two pirate ships. The captain again called for his red shirt and once again, though the fighting was fierce, he was victorious over the two ships. That evening, all the men sat around on the deck recounting the day's triumphs and one of the them asked the captain, ''Sir, why do you call for your red shirt before battle? The captain replied, ''If I am wounded in the attack, the shirt will not show my blood and thus, you men will continue to fight, unafraid.''

All of the men sat in silence and marveled at the courage of such a manly man as Captain Bravo. As dawn came the next morning, the look-out spotted not one, not two, but TEN pirates ships approaching from the far horizon. The crew stared at the captain and waited for his usual reply.

Captain Bravo calmly shouted, ''Get me my brown pants.''

Yes, I was given a phone number to call, and was able to record up to a 10 second message. The message was played back and if I didn't like it, I could re-record the message again. I think Angelina will get a kick out of this. Even at 16, she loves the Build-a-Bear things.

That's really great to know! My spouse was rolling her eyes when I wandered by to ask what were the girls gonna get with the tickets? Not that we need any other toys around here. I thought I had an abundance of toys as a child... I had a toy room which was under the stairwell... our kids have a bit more then that.

Todd: Glad your computer problems are working out for you. You are reminding me that I need to get myself to office max and get some software I saw to back up all your photo's !!!!! Like everyone else I have photo's on my computer if I lost they could not be replaced.

We have an external HD that we back up our photos & important files to.

I know this has been discussed before but honestly I never paid attention.
So no harsh debates just curious o.k ? Most people going on the east repo the kids don't have school till after labor day right?

If your child was in high school would you feel comfortable having them miss the first week of school?

It's not like well you can just go a different time, they only have the one east repo. Thanks

No, we start the last full week of August but the kids will only miss 5 days of school on this repo rather than 13 on the May repo.

Since they upgraded this site guess some things changed and I am a little slow at noticing. I would like to take the cheer logo out and I am used to just going into my sig. but it's gone How do I get there without losing my tags...........very nervous about that one. Thanks
