We also have to board our dogs for two weeks, so that is something else to factor in.

After DH got my message this afternoon, he started talking to people at work who also board their animals and we have some leads that cost less than our vet. It was painful when we came back from 8 days of fun in the sun and had to pay over $500 to spring the two of them - and then they ran right past DH to boot!

Well, I am booked so after reading the 'war and peace' that this cruise meet has become, I've decided to take the plunge and say hello

We are holding 2 connecting cat 7's, the same 2 that we have for the med aug repo. I got them at a fair price and without the agony some suffered today.

I still don't know how to add a tag line or an avatar, so I go for that clean simple look.

Buddy Bear posted last night about 9:50, but then erased the message. Something was said on another forum that had him upset. He wasn't going to cruise.

This was a response to his post.

Jeff: That is awful! Why do people do things like that? It is such a sin that it has ruined things for your family. It has been lovely to learn so many things about you and your family through your postings: the wedding, your nickname, etc. I hope we will still hear from you!

$500 for 8 days - ouch...

We have a pet-sitter that comes to our house 3 times a day and takes them for a walk and plays a little. She rotates lights on/off too and brings in the mail (you wouldn't believe what still gets through even with a hold mail order).

Her fees depend on how many visits but three is running us about $45 a day and the girls get to stay at home.
