I am not sure if I asked this before but does anyone know what aiport is better to fly into Burbank or LAX??

Depends on the Airline....For me right now SWA is cheaper to LAX then Burbank or John Wayne

...Anyway, the prices we got aren't the BEST in comparison to others, especially with the 10% discount- but here's what we got:
Cat 6 gty- 2 adults= $6790.48
Cat 11 gty- 2 adults/1 child = $4209.72
Total= 11000.20

... I will check later to see if I can get my room changed to a nav verandah cat 7 if the price is cheaper. If it's NOT cheaper or heaven forbid even more expensive by that point, I guess I won't switch... but I was really hoping for a nav verandah rather than a regular one. And this gty business makes me NERVOUS. They aren't guaranteeing our cat 11 would be anywhere near our cat 6! Scary.

The Cat 6 is the same price we got it for. The Cat 11 we got for 4194.72. Maybe slightly cheaper than your due to there being 1 adult and 2 kids. I got through around 9 and also got GTY. They were not kidding that yours was one of the first. I think after about 20 minutes of them being able to book (around 8:30) they decided to just give eveyone GTY.

I wouldn't worry too much right now about the location.

We'll be flying either SWA or AirTran from either Albany or Newburgh - it all depends on who has the best deals for when we want to fly. Coming home it will be the same - whoever has the best deal to either airport. We've already determined that we are either hiring a car service to take us and pick us up or we're going to be that pia to family and have my DM and her SO take us and pick us up.

We also have to board our dogs for two weeks, so that is something else to factor in.

But I think that is your problem Andy! You are too patient. Isn't there some saying about noise gets things you want or something.

Okay! Well here is a good story. I was on hold for 2.5 hours today and transferred 2 ressies with the glorious (I use the term loosly) OBC and OBD. I have a fax sent and it is our original ressies. So, I booked online before the cruise sold out and just got finished switching reservations. I had to talk to a supervisor and complained about the process in which they open new dates and make us CALL in to transfer reservations. I am no better now with my glorious discounts than if I had booked online @ 8:00 am with no discounts (plus I would have had a room number and early dinning). INSERT SCREAM!

Basically, my situation is the same as yours except for the fact that I was on hold for exactly 5 hours and then suddenly disconnected. After another hour on hold, I finally got through. Yes, the price I got with OBD and OBC is higher than if I had booked online at 8am and I'm not really happy about it. But that said, I am grateful that I got a room at all (even if it is GTY). I'm fortunate that a few hundred dollars will not make or break it for me, but there are others that truly cannot afford it and I feel for them. I think Disney needs to rethink the way they do this in the future. Alot of things that happened today just don't seem fair. That said, I'm going to be positive and just be thankful I'm able to sail. We have friends that have not heard from their TA yet and I sincerely hope they will be able to join us.
