Hmmmm.....

Joey Fatone or Julie Andrews.

Which one am I hoping for on our cruise????:confused3

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Mike, you're not going to answer that -- you're just going to leave us guessing?:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

On the Med repo from Europe back to PC last August, our special guest was Susan Egan, the original Belle in Beauty and the Beast on B'way, as well as the voice of Meg in Hercules. She gave a wonderful performance and did a great question and answer session/autograph signing.

Here's a picture of her with my youngest daughter:

Thanks to Laura -- eeyorelover -- for this picture, by the way! I was either getting my Ducky Williams litho signed or losing at final bingo (I can't remember which) and Laura took pictures for me.

Wenches......

If you have a AC Moore nearby ...they have tiaras on sale for 40% off this week. (until Monday night)

Hmm, I assume there is one by you. I'll have to look.

Ohhh, I forgot to mention...when I was at WDW I bought a diamonoid three stone Mickey head charm, so I can put a hidden Mickey in my tiara!!

That's a great photo. I LOVE "Meg's" voice, I didn't realize she was the original b-way Belle.

Thanks Tom for the info!!!:worship: Just put reminders up for all of us.... by the weekend I willl forget.:goodvibes

Cheryl - We'll remind you on Friday night at the party! :dance3:

I just had to say that I've never heard of Kiva before but what a fantastic idea. I confess I couldn't resist doing my bit and have just donated to 4 different loans.

I've sponsored a child through World Vision for years and always wanted to do more to help and individual in a developing country.

I think I'm going to enjoy Kiva very much and want to thank you for telling us about it.

Now I need to confess to the team over on the budget board in the No Buy January thread but I don't have any guilt over it at all! :rotfl:

Nope, no guilt - DH never feels guilty about his Kiva spending either! He has also introduced DS8 to Kiva and started his own account for him - DS loaned $25 of his birthday money and another $25 later just because he wanted to.

I hope you don't mind, but I'm doing a little bragging this morning,
today is my 5th Anniversary since joining the DISboards!!!

And to think, I've only posted a few times.........:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

   Congrats Andy!

:cake: :cake: :cake: party: Happy Birthday Paula! party: :cake: :cake: :cake:

Darn it!! I was at the mall last night, but had the kids in tow and they were fussing so I skipped ACMoore, even though I had a gift certificate from Christmas  Guess I'll have to be sure to head back to the mall this weekend. Thanks for the tip! :thumbsup2

That's a great photo. I LOVE "Meg's" voice, I didn't realize she was the original b-way Belle.

She told a neat story about how excited she was when she found out she would be the voice of Meg . . . how much she loved all those huge ballads that Disney heroines got ("Part of That World," etc) . . . and Meg had one too -- then it got cut! After they had recorded it and everything, it was decided that the character of Meg was too tough to sing such a soft song. So she got "It's OK -- you're in love" which she sang on the Magic with a big screen behind her with the cartoon characters doing backup as she sang the lead. She put on a great show.

By the way, she came to New York to be a B'way actress at a very young age -- she is from California -- and her very first tryout was for Belle -- and she got it! She has done many things on B'way and in films, TV, etc., since.

It's just a booklet that will tell us about the excursions offered, describe the ship, gifts offered to purchase, tuxedo rental - stuff like that. All stuff you can find online so nothing new, but it's always exciting to get stuff from DCL right :goodvibes

DCL mail - the best :cool1: . That will great - something to give DH to read about the excursions offered. The website doesn't make it too easy to print off all the ones that are available. Just too many offerings to do each one individually.
