Hello again everyone!

I know i was only away for a week, but the last week has been so hectic as I'm currently delivering training in London, so the days are very long & tiring. so much so I forgot about parents night for Hermione! I am mortally embarrassed and can't even apologise in person as the course means I'm neither dropping her off or picking her up.

WDW was great, but very expensive as we ended up buying into DVC - home resort of AKL villas! Upside is that we are now staying at the Disneyland hotel rather than the HoJo before the cruise & are treating my parents to the "upgrade".

Anyway, not sure how long it will take me to ketchup, or I may just "take a view"!

Hope you all had good thanksgivings & are now preparing for the festive season - I've escaped quite lightly as I don't have to cook Xmas Day (we're going to Mum's), Lauren is a child in the Xmas play so doesn't require a costume & Hermione has a Xmas party only.

Now for some real fluff..........pic. of my baby Dante at 10 weeks old. I got him when he was 12 weeks old weighing in at just a little bit over 3 lbs.

Poor Chuck would be devoted to his job. More then now if you can even imagine that !!

o.k I will spill the beans..........last night Chuck was pulled aside and ask starting next year if he wanted to be VP of business development & operations. I can't imagine the stress.............he is happy. 2 promotions within a year...............he would also be 3rd from the top.

New responsibilities are always fun!

And time off.... well...

that doesn't matter if you're having some fun, right?​

I know that and you know that.........the problem is Chuck doesn't know that. He has soooo much vacation time built up now that he is just going to lose it because he feels he can't be away from work. He won't get paid for all the vacation time he is missing now.

I am scared because within one year they have fired 2 VP'S from this same position.

Now - having read this ... I can see this might be something to be concerned about.

Even so, I must share that I've worked with 8 different VPs in the last 20+ years... and even so...

of those I still know about - they all landed on thier feet. It is a way of life to keep moving sometimes...

... and the connections made at each new level often enable new doors and vistas for you.

The experience gained in each ascending position is INVALUABLE to someone out there.

Anyways... such is life. Ya gotta roll with the evolving situation.

I have faith you will prevail by landing on your feet - every time!

DD5 decided last weekend she had to buy "the fish who shall not be named" a Christmas present so she bought him a psychedelic house for his tank.
