Oh, I'm just being too picky, Diane. I requested 8084 (the cabin we've always cruised in) or ANYTHING aft. I was assigned 8540. It just means more people are going to see my grumpy mug while I schlep up to deck 9 to get hot water to make my coffee. Can't tolerate DCL Coffee (must have Peet's). Please don't judge me too harshly if you happen to see me before my morning coffee

I always look forward to your images you post...they are always quite interesting!

I know that things will get crazy (I promise I will not be a BRIDEZILLA!) And those I am actually sad about not having a Disney wedding...I really want my nana there..we are quite close and I know there would be no way (medical reasons) she could make it down...if she could I know she would.....

I have looked at the Disney Princess inspired gowns....OOOOOO!!!!

Angelina said it all depends on how she does tonight to see if she attends the funeral with Hazel and I tomorrow morning. I know there will be a large number of young people at the viewing tonight, so I hope that helps Angelina open up a bit more. I know she has been holding a lot of her feelings inside.

I hope that Angelina and her friends OK... I can't even really imagine how difficult this must be for all of them.

Monica - tell your son - HB and to have a grand old time - he's going to be an official ST now right? Oh yeah - hope you feel better. The ground still manages to move under me every once in a while. My DH is still recovering from a cold when we left me 2 weeks ago. Although, it hasn't stopped him from going to any poker tournaments.

We were going to give the Oceaneer Club a try... just then Capt Hook was chasing some of the kids around and totally scared the pants off my little DD I mean she was inconsolably scared! She "wanted to go home". Uh oh!

Day 3 - Castaway Cay - Breakfast at Parrot Cay, "Daddy is Captain Hook going to be there?" "uhhhhh No"

"Daddy is Captain Hook going to be there?" "uhhhhh". When Hook shows up she was flipping out...

Day 4 - At Sea - Get Up Late - Cancel 6:30 Palo ressie as there is no way little one will do "Escape from Hook" at the Oceaneers.

Do the Till We Meet Again in the Atruim... Little one loses it when Hook comes down the stairs... so DD gets the Hook and goes to the room with DW (she starts to pack).

I see a theme..... Don't feel bad... On our first DCL trip in 1999, DD was 5 and her reaction was pretty much the same.

During our second trip...things went smoother though...

Glad it worked out.. and you'll have no trouble talking DW into the TOAL....

We haven't been able to start on the deck since we are having trouble getting the plans to fit within the lot with our house - since we own the lot next door, it looks like we may have to merge the 2 lots together before we can do the deck. It is rather frustrating since several other decks around us, do not conform to the current rules but this city says that is OK because they were built a few years ago. The new rules were really put in for new subdivisions and just don't work well in the old parts of town (our house is about 100 years old).

Find out if your jurisdiction would allow an addition of land to allow for the bigger deck.

That way you may be able to keep that 2nd lot seperate in case you would want to sell later on.

Monica I had the same thing happen when I saw Austyn's birthday greetings. I know that it was not because I have been informed everyday for the past week of how many days it is until her birthday.

Okay Monica (got2travel) and I were talking about this at dinner one night on the Med Repo and thought it would be a cool idea and something that no one has done before ...Since alot of us are doing characters from the POTC movies and this whole cruise is around a Pirate theme , we thought it would really be cool to do a Pirate Picture by the Dutchman on Castaway Cay , I will arrange it with shutters , But I want to see how many would be interested in doing this ....I think it would be awesome to have us all walking off the ship to do the pic ...I know it will take some of your time away from Castaway Cay , but I promise it will be very little and worth it in soooo many ways ...

So what say you ?? I say AYE

Hey, I have a DD that just started 7th grade last week. She will be thrilled to hear that there will be other kids her own age going.

She will be even happier to find out that your DS has Capt seating also.

So far so good. We are still transitioning between summer and school. It is hard to light a fire under them when their brains have been turned off all summer. This is Madison's second year of middle school. Madison and Austyn will be thrilled that they have dining companions.
