8/17/08 Captain Jack's Repossession Repo Cruise to PC thru TPC Part 16

It was on Saturday our last park day (we left on Sunday). We always go to Cinderella's wishing well and make a wish before we leave. He told me to sit on the edge so he could take a pic of me. I made my wish. I got up and he asked me to take his pic by the well. I took his camera and was aggrevated with it because it kept shutting off (battery died). As I am fiddling with it and yelling at it I then look up at him and say "It's not working". I see him sitting on the well with an AMAZING ring in an open box!

I say are you kidding me the start crying! (and of course I say YES!)

That's our story!

OMG I swear to God when I tell you that I have tears running down my face right now! That is the sweetest proposal!!! How romantic!!!

My favourite thing I over heard during all of it was " Hush, I am enjoying someone's moment!"


About the ring...he did REAL good! Next to the center diamond are three small round ones...in a VERY familiar silhouette shape!!!

Okay Monica (got2travel) and I were talking about this at dinner one night on the Med Repo and thought it would be a cool idea and something that no one has done before ...Since alot of us are doing characters from the POTC movies and this whole cruise is around a Pirate theme , we thought it would really be cool to do a Pirate Picture by the Dutchman on Castaway Cay , I will arrange it with shutters , But I want to see how many would be interested in doing this ....I think it would be awesome to have us all walking off the ship to do the pic ...I know it will take some of your time away from Castaway Cay , but I promise it will be very little and worth it in soooo many ways ...

So what say you ?? I say AYE

Todd is this for anyone dressed as a pirate or are you looking for the more "authentic" characters? Just want to clarify! Thanks!

Todd that sounds like a wonderful idea. There will be so many on the ship that have put so much effort into their costumes. It would be awesome to have the Flying Dutchman as your background!

Of course its for everyone ....This would be the first time in the boards history to have a Pirate Picture by the Dutchman , of course there will be all the people as the characters too , but the More Pirates and Wenches the Better....

So David and Andrew (UK) would be so ashamed.......

A local radio station was offering 2 sets of 5 tickets for the Glendale Raptors. They will be playing in the brand new, first-ever stadium built specifically for rugby football. The tickets went to the first people to answer a question:

1. What is a "try"?
2. How many players (from both sides) are on the field during a scrum?

They were interviewing Mike Graham from the team who said rugby is the second most popular sport in the world...yet hasn't caught on in a big way in the USA. "Why?" they asked... He said it had to do with the youth programs...when you ask a pro rugby player how long he's been playing, the answer will invariably be since age 4 or 5....because at that age you either go into rugby or soccer.

Anyway, it took them some 10-15 minutes before they got two people who could answer the questions.
