My wife just came home and brounght home a cake that said

"Happy Anniversery"

I turned to her and said...

Who's anniversery is it? It's not ours is it?

She just laughed and said it was!

Ooops!

That makes 13 years married and 23 or 24 years since this photo was taken of us below on Oahu

I thought Lisa posted that only ONE thread is allowed on the DIS per sailing. So it might have been closed. If not, then technically it should have been... as it would have posed an unacceptable precedent for ALL sailings and meet threads on the DIS.

I think you are talking about LegalBriefs. He had the Roy on the Mediterranean cruise I was on. He does not have the Roy on this sailing.

Maybe it's his friend that has one of the cat 1's -- it could be the Walt and not the Roy...... I certainly don't have a great memory for this kind of stuff. I'm too busy trying to remember all of my kid's *stuff*.

Like how the Tooth Fairy needs to remember that 9ds had a tooth pulled today....

I only remember his friend since I'm one of the people that he trolled on the Dis. Out of 14 yrs of being online and always being upfront about me and my family he is the only one that I've ever had an encounter with online that was REALLY creepy and a little scarey.

Lisa, that is horrible!!!! I sure hope it hasn't continued like that through the rest of school.

Fortunately for me my son became friends with one of the homeroom Dad's sons & the president of the PTA's son.

I'm like a friend of the family now. Not family, but a friend of.

and on another note - the lawns are all cut now - gotta edge em' tomorrow though and we're maybe fixin' to replace on section with sod this weekend. GOtta lot to do in the days to come.

Must be nice to actually try to fix the lawn....

Our lawn is kinda on the "Live and let die" plan at the moment.

I have 2 female dogs who LIVE here Therefore, the grass DIES.

I tried to plant more seed one spring...useless...

Awe.... i'm touched she remembered. It's three days late but still touched...

DH and i celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary but we've been together 16years.

(BTW Happy Anniversary to you guys too!!!!)

Dh is really hoping for a Cat 3 since he has never been bothered by creaking in a Cat 3.

We had a mid-ship cat 9 on the Wonder once and the creaking of the panels drove me nuts one trip.

I've never had that trouble further up levels on the ship (deck 5,6,or 7)​

If you've got any spare pixie dust today, I could sure use it. My mom's in the hospital with pneumonia and she's have a terrible time breathing. They keep giving her astma treatments, which I keep insisting that she doesn't have, and she still can't breath without wheezing. She's been in since yesterday and we haven't seen any improvement yet.


And oh yeah, the guilt is building. I feel as if I may have pushed her too hard on the cruise.

It's not your fault. She could've picked it up anywhere. I had it and they gave me a steroid inhaler.It worked like a charm but left me with a tiny weak voice. Since I am on the phone all day it was really funny and difficult at the same time til my voice came back.

That is why one of the things on my "to find by next year" list is a white noise machine. My Mom brought hers but I discovered I juts need the sound of a fairly noisy fan to block out all of the little noises that kept me up.
I also am looking for a clock that displays on the ceiling. Drove me nuts not being able to see the time at night. No standard digital clock w/ the time. Could never read the little propeller clock.
