Hey Cheryl, hope y'all survived the storms today okay. The sirens were going off in Schaumburg when I picked up DD at 3:30 and they had all the kids in the basement of the church annex. Supposedly a tornado was spotted over by the golf course and I thought of you and John.

It is also 'suitcase day' for us as well. I have the kids scurrying around getting things ready for us to leave to see Mr. Mouse next Tuesday!

I was going through my pictures and found this one of Harley in his Vikings jersey from about 2 months ago;

So, I decided to see how much he's grown....:scared1:

A quick check in from Barcelona Airport, after a fabulous cruise on the Magic.

Those 11 days went so fast.

The ship great as ever, the ports fantastic so much to do, so little time.

From touring Naples Sorrento Amalfi drive, Pompeii, to touring Rome, to a train ride in Sardinia, and a picnic lunch, to Florence so stunning, and a climb of Pisa, To Provence and Cassis, the cliff coastline, and Monte Carlo Nice and Villafrance.

Little time on ship, but the shows all great Disney dreams enhanced with 'snow' and Lion king Puma and Crush in the under the sea bit, to When Mickey dreams a great new aerobic show, the art of the story, was good but needs a little work.

Menes very good service in Palo great though scones for afternoon tea a little flat.

Weather great until last sea day, rough seas blowing a gale, sunny am then goofy pool and deck 4 closed off. Rain on arrival in Barcelona today.

Servers great, our Cruise director was Brent, more of a manager than the other CD's I feel.

Ship was full but they handled lines well.

Andrew I am so glad you had a great time. Do you feel rested or need another vacation from the vaction.:rotfl2:

Could you please say who the Dissers are in the Palo piture?? I am glad you got your private brunch!!!:yay: Keep your fingers crossed.:goodvibes

I had Brent on both of my cruises. I loved waking up to his voice every morning.:yay: I thought he was great. ...but I never had any other CD to compare to.:rolleyes1

I loved the pictures.......remember we are living a vacation off your pictures.:rotfl2:

Multi quote button is acting up.:headache: It skipped your post completely.:confused3

Hey Cheryl, I noticed you said you had some "weather" there today. How close are you to Naperville? That's where my BIL and SIL live.

Hi Everyone! Boy was it FUN going back to work today(not!) It was 102 here today with 109 heat index.....................YUCK!!!!

Hope everyone had a great day.:goodvibes

Heat !!!! I love it.:woohoo:

Hey JR, I was sitting in the downstairs bathroom for a half hour. No tornado but the sky was a pretty shade of green. Before the tornado warning, we got 1 inch of rain by my house in less than a half hour. DD in Barlett never got a drop.:confused3

One of these days drop over. John does get home by 3:45 everyday.

Have a great vacation!!!!:yay: :yay: Post pictures will you???:confused3 I am hoping the Dream team finds you several times.

Hey Cheryl, I noticed you said you had some "weather" there today. How close are you to Naperville? That's where my BIL and SIL live.

Debi, I live about 10 miles Northwest of Naperville. It was very scary here today. The funny thing is we had a 1 inch rainfall before the scary storm came through.

When we first moved into our home, a tornado went through the yard directly in back of me.:scared: It took a swing set from one yard over the fence and entwined itself with another swing set. Both swing sets could not be taken apart. The same touchdown took a shed behind us and turned it upside down exactly in the same place.:rolleyes1

I sit in the downstairs bathroom everytime I hear the siren go off.

Are you coming to visit your BIL or SIL within the year???? It would be a good excuse for another mini meet!:woohoo:

I loved the picture of your bike.:flower3: My multi quote button has been selective all by itself.:sad2:

Not lazy. I believe the new 'politically correct' term is "Motivationally Challenged" :rotfl:
I love it and I'm going to start using it! :)

:cool1: :thumbsup2
OH Yeah we can't wait to do this cruise again :yay: :yay: :yay:
Did any one start plans for another wine tasting on this trip????
Is there a site to see the T-Shirts? How many RPTS from the Ship of Fools???

The Kochenberger's

RPTS?

Debi, I, on the other hand, live within spitting distance of Naperville. My kids attend Naperville schools, are in a Naperville Boy Scout troop and my son swims in the Naperville Park District swim league. So we feel we practically live in Naperville except our taxes go to Bolingbrook (but by some odd quirk of location, our library is in another community, Plainfield).

Cheryl it isn't the heat I mind so much, but the humidity that comes with it here. I hate to feel all sticky.:)

I received my pirate mickey yesterday too! I had totally forgotten about it.:goodvibes

Hi All,
Just a drop by hello.
Wow, the quotes were sure off - although it appeared that I posted a bunch!
Wraping up things here before I leave is unraveling. I'm stressing - which sure doesn't help. I'm trying to be philosophical - what doesn't get done will just have to wait until Sept.
Check back w/you all once I get down to L.A.

Repeaters maybe?

Me neither....Our building has serious a/c issues and they've had to install moisture meters throughout the building. According to the buidling rep we've been consistently reading 70%. Some of the doors to the offices are sticking even.

Today i had to ask...so if it ever reads 100%...Does that mean we need an umbrella?:rotfl:

Oh postscript -
Cheryl - you asked Todd how long is his flight - well my flight LAX to Dublin is 10 hours - then the Dublin to Paris leg is a little over 1 1/2 hours.
Fortunately I love to fly and have no problem sleeping on a plane.
And a bonus is that I leave L.A. at 4:30pm - so I'll sleep & hopefully it'll be easier to tranistion to the time difference.

Pirate Mickey? What's that about? tell me more about pirate mickey!

Repeaters maybe?
I thought so too- but is typing repeaters really harder than RPTS capitalized and everything? So I thought maybe it stood for something else...

Bip, Andy posted a picture a couple of days ago. I tried to look back and find it, but couldn't. I am sure he will post it again if you ask. Andy had originally posted the order form back in february I think. It is of Mickey in a pirate outfit with a feather for the plume in his hat. It is a resin figurine. Really cute.:goodvibes

Chris I hope it works out that you get some sleep on your flight. You are gonna have a blast. I wish I had the guts to take a trip like that by myself.:goodvibes

It is funny. I have pretty much had the whole summer to do what sewing I want since I had take time off to help Elizabeth during her recovery. i haven't sewn a thing. I have zero motivation. I guess since that is my usual job I don't feel like sewing now. I have to finish an afghan that I am making for my neice whose baby is due this month and I haven't felt the desire to do that either. Just lazy I guess.

I have a feeling that a month before TOAL my basement will be costume making factory.

I did distress my Barbossa hat today though. :)

Good luck!! Today is suitcase day--Horray!!! That means it is almost time to head to WDW!!:goodvibes

Hey Paula! Hope your not melting in that heat.

The girls always get excited when the suitcases come out. It means we're that much closer to Disney!

Peter, will we get to see a preview before the Toal??

Sorry, no previews. I'm just hope I can get it all done in time. There's so much detail.

I don't know how Penny Rose does it.
