Happy Birthday Cheryl !

If all goes well, I could be an uncle for the 7th time today. My SIL went into the hospital this morning and her labor was induced. The last I heard she was at 3cm, that was about 8:30am. I tried sending a message to my brother, but I guess he is a little busy right now...........

Update: As of 2pm my SIL was only at 4cm, but her contractions are 3 minutes apart.

This is the 7th niece or nephew on my side of the family, I lost count how many kids there are on Hazel's side of the family, as I ran out of fingers and toes...........:rotfl:

On another note, Hazel and I moved into our home 27 years ago today!!! :upsidedow
Congrats Andy & Hazel. Well...............boy or girl?:cheer2: :cheer2:

This if from John on the WB thread. :thumbsup2 I hope that he does mind sharing it with us. If Mr. McAlpin did get this it will be indeed interesting what his response will be.

I just wrote my own letter that will be sent to Mr. McAlpin if indeed we have his email address. Please feel free to comment, change or steal (weRevoved are pirate: s) for yourselves.

[Wow, lesson learned don't mess with diser's. Good luck everyone !:wizard: :wizard:

Tom does Alicia know about this??:rotfl2:

Rodger...

...Ahem, the neighbor girl is roughly my daughters' AGE. And yes, she knows as she diverted me to just make it a day for exploration as she had packed all the beach suitable swimsuits - and wanted me to go light on the beach since we were about to embark for Hawaii.

So we hit the Agoura library, had a huge long lunch and hooked up with another family at the new Warner center - I'm sure that's not what they callit but that's what I call it. While there I sort of worked off my phone with the casual noise in the background giving away my location. Good thing I brought my AC charger with me today. Mondays are always sort of busy.

grin164l.jpg

So - on another note - sadly I fear I'll not be on hand to sprint for the 70,000th posting. I just found out my penny pinching hotel has no internet wifi or in room access. So that means for me to get on I'll have to walk over to my FILs' place and use his connection. Generally that means I'll be on line about 5-15% of the time I might otherwise be on. Sounds like its' time to pack along those Farscape and Battlestar Galactica DVD sets I've been wanting to see. Plus I have a couple of new compurter games that need trying out too!

Cheers,

from CC

I just got a good email from Dreams --- they have doubled our on board credit!!!!!

Check your emails.

Just got this in an email just minutes ago

Dear Valued Dreams Unlimited Travel Client

Dreams Unlimited Travel is happy to announce we are doubling the shipboard credit you will be receiving on your Panama Canal crossing cruise next summer!!!

The new shipboard credit amounts will be $600 per stateroom for a verandah stateroom (categories 1 – 7) and $400 per stateroom for a non-verandah stateroom (categories 8 – 12). Previously the shipboard credit amounts were $300 and $200 respectively.

There is nothing you need to do. The increase will be reflected in your Client Services area of our site and added to your stateroom folio automatically.

The owners of Dreams Unlimited Travel have spent a great deal of time discussing the recent increase in taxes on the Panama Canal crossing cruises and we feel this is the best way we can help offset the cost of this increase for our clients. While we understand this may not cover the full increase for all our clients we hope it will help.

We appreciate everyone who books with us and feel lucky that we have so many wonderful Dreams Unlimited Travel clients who come to us again and again to book their precious Disney vacation. Many of you have become like family to us and we wanted to take this opportunity to help out by offsetting a portion of this unexpected increase.

Thank you for choosing Dreams Unlimited Travel and we hope you have a Magical Disney Cruise!!!!

Sincerely,

John Magi

Esteri: I need to talk with DH and ST about shirts. I am in but who knows if I can talk ST into wearing anything I want her to.:rolleyes1

Tina - you might want to tell her about my DH's experience last year at WDW at the MNSSHP. He didn't want to wear a costume and was totally stubborn about it. He ended up wearing a halloween t-s****. He stood out like a sore thumb the whole night!!!! DS & I were dressed up to the hilt (pirates of course!) and he was probably asked where his costume was 50 times that night. THe cast members were joking around with him and calling him a "party-pooper" and a "costume wimp"! :rotfl2:

He says next time he will wear a costume so he "blends in" better! Sometimes doing the "weird" thing actually helps you be less conspicuous...

I have not yet received the letter re the $100 pp but I did check online and my balance is up $400.

I checked the confirmation I have from DCL and there is nothing reflected in it re port charges etc.

However, I have checked the printed out confirmation from the day I booked. I'm really bad at the scanning and posting thing so I will retype what I have infront of me
(of course not the entire thing since its 5 pages long)

And for my 6,000th posting to the DIS

....I thought I'd share a few images of my modified bunk bed "castle". I never got around to resolving the tower in front - but that's easy enough to resolve when I get back (and "around" to building it). And I have to tack on a base to the slide as it needs it. At any rate - here it is 95% completed.

Under the stairs and desk I've tucked/fitted in her mini-dresser and on the left is a toy box that I slid in - although I might actually do something else with that area.

Below is the original "DESIGN PLAN"
I moved the ladder under the slide platform - and have yet to add the tower in front.

If you are only posting 5-15% of normal, we may not get to 70,000....
