Contest time............Any bets on who is gonna win? Both puzzles are 1000 pieces. Brooke is doing the one on the left. I am doing Mickey puzzle that is a puzzle within a puzzle. I just got mine so it will be starting after I get my border done. She has her border done and want's to start it now. I may not be able to see after this.

It might be cheaper for you to make your own shirts from Disney? I still plan on wearing my dis-green shirt along with the black & white. I don't want the captain makin me walk the plank.

I'm not afraid of the Captain... atleast not with my "pirate" at my side. He's my protector... besides I can swim well. (haha)

But seriously... if I can't get other colors made too (at an extra cost ofcourse) I don't know what I'll do. I don't have a clue as to how to put the logo on another shirt myself.

Okay I'll try to hunt it down there. One thing I need to do is reach Pete about Jeff's jersey size... if he's still posting often on the thread hopefully I'll catch him so I can PM him about it because search ain't working for me today (as usual!). I have down for XL for Jeff but he really needs L instead.........

Anywho, thanks for the info. I was in total shock when I went to the first thread hoping to find updates and info from the posts I'd missed and it was all gone!

So I am not thrilled with the additional government charge of $100 per person and I don't understand why it only applies to those who haven't paid in full. This charge applies to everyone regardless of age. I am curious what is the actual charge to DCL. $100 a passenger is too round a figure; just to neat for me.

I agree it seemed too round a number to me and for even children- seems steep.
I had no idea it was only being charged to those that hadn't already paid in full. If it's truly higher govt tax/fees- then even those that already paid would owe this- unless DCL is just eating the cost for that. In which case kinda bums me out that we couldn't afford to just pay for it all at the moment of booking it. Would have saved us $500! (but we didn't have the money so the point is moot for us)

My fare is a little over $10k; since we booked on Jan 31st with everybody else even if I had the entire amount I wouldn't give it to DCL 16 months in advance. Minus the deposit that $8k earns more interest in my account than DCL's.

For us paying the entire amount up front makes no sense (I guess until today) but it doesn't seem fair to only penalize those who are smart with their money.

Yeah, probably.
I know to some it may not seem much to quibble about but we've had some expenses going on around here that were unexpected (due to backyard/pool/patio flooding that we did not anticipate having this problem when we bought this home last Nov and it's costly to repair, and some other things too) and if Jeff doesn't get lots of overtime- we're not going to have enough saved to pay for this by the time of the cruise- and additional costs adding on now. Don't even know how much airfare is going to cost by then... I'm beginning to think maybe we SHOULD have tried to get the cheapest rooms possible. It's pretty expensive for the staterooms we have (2 for 5 people) and that added with all the other additional costs. Well, let's just put it this way- we're not the rockefellers! adding another $500 is adding quite a bit for us. I just have to cross my fingers and hope for some pixie dust that we'll still be able to go- that we'll have the money saved by then.
