8/17/08 Captain Jack's Repossession Repo Cruise to PC thru TPC Part 15

SO...

... since returning home it's been dusty brown skys with "health advisories" for air quality here. It seems we have fires burning all over the place in the region. The larger and closest one being the "Zaca" fire in Santa Barbara 40 miles north of us. It's already burned 222,557 acres as of last nite at 8pm! It started on July 4th; is now only 79% contained and is predicected to burn out on September 7th, 2007. http://cdfdata.fire.ca.gov/incidents/incidents_current?pc=5&cp=0

I never even noticed they had this fire going back in July - til recently. Yesterday the skys looked especially "dirty rust color"!

I had an e-mail from our Captain ...Todd...... as they were arriving in Cadiz this morning. All is well and they're having a great time.

We have a full day of various appointments tomorrow, so I'm going to go....

it is in fact the swim team "fish" in our home. The sequence was taken last valentines day week on the Carnival Spirit enroute to Manzania (I think). And it remains undetermined if she wil continue with a year round swim team. I only recently discvered there were year round competitveswim groups. We just started saturday ballet lessons and have Chinese and regular school starting up soon. Plus we had music lessons on our agenda as "next" on her "to do" list.

.. can you see how this sequence is actually spliced together from THREE shooting angles/sequences? In one case you can see myother daughter in the corner but not in the next image. And the exposures, flash use and sharpness give away another difference. AND - in the other margin the shooting angle is different in vertical angle/vantage point.

I don't think we were in the kids pool - it was the general use one.​

If she is trying all those things, I would not do winter swimming. Let her enjoy trying out new things while she is young. Winter swimming tends to take over your life. Although I must admit, out of all the sports my boys tried, it was the one I did like the best, and the one they ended up sticking with. But a little girl in ballet and music: how fun!!! And I think the Chinese school will be great. That is something the whole family can get involved in.

Great idea to follow the cruise, now to make it very accurate last time we arrived outside the entrance of the Panama canal about 9pm and refuled overnight, we were able to see the lights of Panama City and in the morning saw many ships around us,I presume they will do the same again as they have to refule and I think its cheap there.
