And this one was taken after we got on the ship and up to our room. You can see that they store the gangways on the roof of the terminal building. So this is from the ship, facing the terminal....and the outer area where we lined up to get onboard.

Thanks for adding Stacey. Also, in LA you board on Deck 4 not Deck 3 like in PC.

The gangway goes over to deck 4.

Then you walk down to the doors to the lobby to be announced.

I remember going in on deck four at LA, recently in Barcelona we went in on deck one and they took us up in the lift to deck 9 and you were annouced live on the big TV screen!!!!

You came out near topsiders and the TV was on a dealy so you could see yourself.

1 Awesome Trip

This one was a great one to get on/off the Magic, its Palermo, Sicily, and there was a movable bridge that moved up to the atrium entrance and we got on and off directly into the Atrium.

The funny thing was watching it line up in the morning, there was a road under it and there was a car with its doors open under the bridge, the bridge driver moved along and siscily stopped when he realized that he would rip the car door off.

The people instead didn't know anything he shouted and shouted and then after a while they noticed the bridge an inch away from their door.

Can you PM me if you get a response I miss? I am in the same boat. DD has been in riding lessons since she turned 4 and will be 1 week shy of 9 when we go on this cruise and would LOVE to ride since I am not sure she can go 2 weeks w/out riding anyway.;)

Coral

Me too me too! DD Ashton has been riding for over a year now and will only be 9 on this cruise. She will turn 9 in May - she loves her horses. She is even saving up her money to buy her own horse (I guess she thinks we will keep it in the back yard:confused3 ).

How cool Todd! I wish we were there too as we've not seen the olympic village - and really it's been over 2 decades since I was there last. And, of course, we've not had the pleasure of sailing Disney in the Med yet.

Add me to those of you excited with newsletter. I have spent the last few hours goofing off on the computer. I was looking at the excursions list for Cabo San Lucas from the last PC Cruise and saw a beach horseback ride. I noticed it stated 10 and up. My 7 year old (regularly rides - almost competing) will be devastated. Does anyone recall if any of the other ports have a place where she too can ride?

The Aruba section has a link for "all ages" horseback riding

In Sardinia there was a ferry trying to out do Disney.

I think it was UCL.

Thats Universal cruise line.

It looks like the ferry/cruise ship indeed is a regional one. Ine wuth a very interesting color scheme. To say it's big is an understatement! And it's big.

Happy Friday to all!

10 days from my 1st DCL... and 365 days till the TOAL!

See 'yall next year.

(pray for no hurricances)

Sil, I have my fingers crossed for you for good weather................I know your wife has to be biting her nails about now. :goodvibes
