Cheryl: Chuck has changed his schedule. He now comes home at 6:45 for dinner then works on his computer. He also goes in earlier. At least we get dinner together as a family.

Now for me, feel free to pass info on to John. Finally went to DR. yesterday and I see some $$ medical bills in my future.:sad2: I got all the bloodwork done today. Tomorrow I go for a manipulation?:confused3 We finally go on our delayed dinner cruise tomorrow night.:thumbsup2

Next Wed. I go for a back ex-ray and CT scan, Thursday for a heart ultra sound scan.

The Dr. is 99 % sure I will need surgery for a operation that I had back in 2000.

Finally have some time to sit and play "catch up".....

Andrew...you're killing me with the desserts!

See previous posts !! :headache:

I'm a manager in a Government Department and they visit my office in the city. The reason is, to arrest certain people who have been "arranged" to visit my office where they get arrested - normally identity fraud (false passports or illegal immigrants).

By the way, 17th of August is our Wedding Anniversary - 16 years tomorrow. As we leave for holiday the following day we have agreed to no cards or flowers this year.

David

I'm sorry David - I must have missed that bit (one of the times I have been unable to ketchup). Again, apologies for making you repete yourself.

BTW, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

Guess that I should do a local weather report as a guideline for packing next year.

Anaheim currently 91F
Tonight: Patchy fog after 11pm. Otherwise, increasing clouds, with a low around 68. Southwest wind between 5 and 10 mph becoming calm.
Friday: Patchy fog before 11am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy through mid morning, then becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 88. Calm wind becoming south between 5 and 10 mph.

San Pedro currently 79
Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 66. West wind between 7 and 10 mph becoming calm.

Friday: Partly cloudy, with a high near 81. Calm wind becoming northwest between 8 and 11 mph.

As you can see it is warm inland but still foggy along the coast.

I remember the last time we did the Mexican Riviera with Mickey, the first night or two were pretty chilly. Going to have to remember to pack a sweater this time.

I sent you a cake too Shannon. See that is what you get for not reading all the pages. :goodvibes

And ... lest I be left off the list of well wishers... Shannon: In addition to the customary Birthday Wishes (above) may I offer you your very own BIRTHDAY JET for your special B-Day? It's flying enroute to an airport somewhere near you ... so it may take a while to get to your local airport... <chuckles> Better LATE then never, eh?

Pretty much the story of my life. We live just outside of SF and it's always foggy and cool on our hillside. Go as few as 5 miles inland & it warms up considerably.

Fog aside... I've always thought of the SF area as a wonderful place to live. Some have spoken of SF as the "Paris" of the USA. And certainly Paris is a fun place to visit! If I had an easy relocation opportunity - and I could choose SF... I would do it in a heart beat! Even if you've got a litttle fog - it must bring a surreal and "interesting" quality to your days... eh? :thumbsup2

The problem (if it can be called that) with living in a destination city is that you don't see it as the tourists do. I can't tell you the last time I rode a cable car or walked across the Golden Gate Bridge. I've never been to Alcatraz and I think the last time I went to Angel Island I was in High School.

All that being said, DH and I often discuss where we would live if we could live anywhere and it usually comes down to here or London. We both love theatre and history and books.

There are some really wonderful bike/hiking trails around here - I can hardly wait until DD is old enough for a bike.

Lost this thread for long time just happen to see it show up. I wanted to get to know some people going on this cruise since my husband and I will be cruising alone for the first time.

Tina (Castoff) since you are back from NY, here is your Freak Flag. First attempt since I had no input on the design. :sad2:

thanks!! i'm sorry i missed it! i actually didn't get a chance to get on the boards on my birthday (monday). i can't wait til my bday next year...we'll be at DL!!!
What a day!!!

Is is really hot and sticky. Weatherman says 82 but feels much hotter.

Had to drive out to Queens this afternoon for a wake. One of my co-workers was killed over the weekend by a drunk driver. Very Very sad. Our entire office has been a mess all week. We found out Monday morning when we came in because one of the girls was reading the paper and saw the article. We were just in total shock. Her family called that moring as well, but we already knew at that point.
Please say a prayer for her family.

Happy Birthday Shannon
