Here are a couple pictures from DS's first communion...even though the priest said no photos. Sorry but we got there way early & others had their cameras out and we were in the front row. I turned off the flash BTW & held the camera low so he didn't even see it.

When we got married, the priest lectured the photographer on where he could & couldn't be during Mass. Then FIL told him to just ignore him, Father wouldn't stop the Mass if the photog was in the wrong place. The funny part? FIL is a deacon, so he was on the alter during Mass & actually married us. So the deacon told the photog to ignore the priest. Yup, we're all going to hell, but I have great photos!

I love OPI polish.... Totally worth the $7 a bottle.... I can buy the cheaper stuff but when i do i end up have to touch up or repolish every 3-4 days so it's kinda a waste.

With OPI i can get a week easy...

I get about a week out of OPI as well.

I love the names they come up with for the polish. My two favorites are Not So Bora-Bora Pink and Cabo San Lilac(which they don't make anymore). right now I am wearing Far East Fuschia.

Right now I have a french manicure of Creme of Crete & Samoan Sand on my fingers & Nice Color, Eh on my toes. I also really like Head 'Em Up Mauve 'Em Out, Yucatan If you Want, 20 Candles on My Cake & I'm Not Really a Waitress.


Lisa, I'm sure OPI actually stands for something, but it is just called OPI. You can usually find it in places that sell hair care supplies or in hair salons.

Tom, hate to tell ya but DD6 has had a boy she likes enough to want to marry when they get all "growed up" and DS has quite the following. In 4 year PS he came home the first week with his future wife having staked her claim. She was very sweet but that ended when they went to different kindergartens. First day of K he came home and tol me that he thought he had a GF because someone had told him that he was her BF. I found out a few weeks later that this little cutie was none other than the VP's DD. LOL! She was very sweet but her mom was transferred across the river the next year. There are three girls he has gone to school with since they were all 2 yo though. They are very protective of each other.

So DS6 kissed a girl in her closet when he was 4 & DS7 has had a girlfriend since he was 6.

I just did a quick search. You can get OPI at Ulta, Cost Cutters, Trade Secret, JC Penney Salons, and a lot of independant salons. But like I said, I get a lot of them on eBay.

I would prefer 8:00 too as long as we are doing late dining. When I had 8:30 we were late for even the Pirate night. I definitely do not want to miss any of this!!!!!!!

UGH! It was totally gone this morning. When I do try to talk I end up hacking. I resorted to nodding yes or no at the doctor's this morning along with hand signals. I should have had a keyboard & I would have been fine.

Hand signals work well if you know what I mean.

So where is this stuff sold & what does OPI stand for?

OPI brand is used at most salons because it is the best. I found Ulta to be reasonable and sometimes you get a freebie with purchase. Sign up and they send $3.50 coupon to be used on ten dollar purchase when you get the club card.

This is a picture of Don Ducky Williams on the 10 Wonder Cruise August of 2006 with George his friend, John,and myself. We also cruised with him in 2005 on a 7 day Magic. We were lucky enough to win a stich poster he drew.

He was on both of our 10 Day Holiday cruises. He was always very gracious where ever he was on the ship even when people were coming up to him at the dining roatation and Palo to sign various items. A very, very lovely man .

Hi.. before I go off to ketchup on the last 100 or so pages..

I am thinking of adding DDP to our trip this July-August..

'OHana (twice) great food both times

Mama Melrose (3 X's) 1st & 2nd time - Great food, great service, 3rd time - terrible food, great service. Each time I went on the Fantasmic Dinner Pkg. I would not visit there again - that's how bad the food was. My local Papa Gino's serves cooks better than I was served that night.

Le Cellier (Countless times) Always great food and great service. However, recently you seem to hear alot of negative feedback from people who have dined there recently

I would love to try Boma, but both DD & DH are soooo picky and when I looked at the menu I thought I would have to deal with unhappy campers. I may have to try that one out on a solo trip

I just purchased my second bottle of "Not So Bora-Bora Pink". My Favotite. I bring my own to the salon. OPI is great polish, but if the salon does not clean your nails properly b-4 appling it still chips and peels. The DCL spa gave me the worst mani-pedi I've ever had. The polish was peeling b-4 the night's end , and it wasn't cheap either!!

found out our drive-in is getting "AWE" opening weekend!!! Yay!!! DD has a half day that Friday - we were originally planning on catching the first available showing that afternoon in the theatre - maybe we will hit the zoo or something 'til we can catch the movie that night ...can't wait!!!

Our Drive in is also playing it opening weekend. We saw DMC at the drive in opening weekend last year also. I think I might have to go there this weekend...Screen 1 is playing Shrek the Third & Blades of GLory . Hope it warms up a bit

ours is playing "Blades" too - haven't had a chance to see it yet - may be a date night for DH and I!!!

A Run, err, I mean walk....make that a crawl

You can try Boma even with picky eaters! There are meats served with the sauces on the side, and of course they have the kids section with fries, chicken fingers, and mac and cheese. And the desserts are incredible! Since it is a buffet, you can always take a sample and not eat it if you do not like it. It is so very nice to walk the grounds either before or after. There is so much to do and see in and outside the AKL. I would make sure you reserve an entire evening!
