The 35,869th post was on March 1, for an average of ~1000 posts/day in February
The 50,510th post was on April 1, for an average of ~475 posts/day in March
The latest post today means we've only had an average of ~200 posts/day in April.
If that rate remains steady and does not experience the half-life effect seen so far, there would be roughly 98,000 more posts by the time we cruise.

Well, what I need to do is go back and collect weekly posting statistics (e.g. actual number of posts per week because monthly is not granular enough). Then we can correlate downturns based on absences of key posters. Can also then estimate posts per week for each poster and then adjust the estimate upwards or downwards.
Wish I had time to do this b/c it would be a fun exercise.
