Good Morning Everyone!

Nice poster!

I have to admit, when we were in WDW last week we took a movie poster off one of the Disney Buses. We did ask the bus driver so it wasn't stealing. We borowed it. It's the poster of all the 4 main characters.

Hope everyone is well!:)

Just one question. Why is the poster on your patio window?

BTW any of you dissers coming to Louisville for the KY Derby?

NO but the Bernese Mtn Dog National Specialty is there at the fairgrounds the week after the Derby.... :dog2: (My Abby's breed)

It only happens once a year and it's really amazing to see all the top dogs there at once.

I really want to come if only for a night. SWA had $25 fares the other day and i had to resist.

Is your couch open Paula if i hop a flight? I'll take a lawn chair even.....

Well, with your head on the keyboard I bet your typing looks like this: fnioewhjaroihfnaewkjldfnvaewubhfiuWFHUN WLefk

LOL. That's what my paper sounds like anyway. A lot of gibberish. I am getting paid to write papers about architectures we will never develop and features we will never do. It's like I am a science fiction writer.

Good Morning Crew!

Well, I am packed and ready to go. Just waiting for my Mom to get here so we can head off to EWR. Flight is so far on time and according to Liz, the weather looks great. It was nearly impossible to get out of the office yeaterday. Needless to say I will be screening call.

I am not taking the computer. So, have a good week. Be safe. I'll ketchup Sun/Mon.

Happy Birhtday to those ofyou celebrating this week.

XOXO

Have Fun! C you real soon!

Good Morning everyone! Playing ketchup.

Please tell me that's a joke Tina??? Is Muskrat a rodent? (excuse that question if it's idiotic)

Yes, MR it is true. They are a big deal around here. Usually in the fall and spring I think. I've never been, but my dad would go sometimes. There is a guy Johnny Kolakowsi who owns a resturant that serves exotic dishes. He has been on Extreme Food on the Food Channel. It is one of the orignial weird traditions of the Downriver area (area south of Detroit, along the Detroit River).

The story I heard was that early French explorers saw the muskrats swimming and thought they were water creatures. Since they were Catholic and couldn't eat meat on Fridays they took to eating muskrats. My boss said that they also petitioned the Vatican for permission to eat muskrat on Fridays.

Not sure how true the Vatican part is, but it is just one of those weird traditions around here. I guess the muskrat meat is processed and imported from Canada.

I've never gone to a muskrat dinner. Never will. just the thought yuck!
I rather eat !:cake:

Singin' and jingin' the jango
Floatin' like the heavens above
It looks like muskrat love"

I thought quoting non-pirate songs/movies was a hangable offense?:rolleyes1

Good Morning Everyone!!

Too much ketchup so I just read the summaries

(YES some of us read the summaries)

I have now joined the ranks of the sick kids club!!!
DH took off yesterday to stay home with Devin. Today its my turn. Was hoping he was better. The boys have been fighting that nasty stomach bug since last Tuesday. Finally thought we were done, Devin woke up this morning with a 101 fever. Off to the doctor we go later this morning. Normally I wouldnt take him but he's complaing hes dizzy as well. So he needs to be checked out.

Happy B-day to all those I've missed.

Wish Ryan luck again this weekend. After winning the Staten Island Pinewood Derby for his division a few months ago, he is competing this Saturday in Manhattan at the ESPN ZONE against all the other NYC area kids.

Just wanted to show you guys what I finished for dd's school. They are having a Fine Art Night tonight and they had school chairs that you could take and decorate for the "Chair-ity" Auction. The theme was storybooks.

Tina:

I LOVE it!!! what an awesome job !!!!

just stopping in to say hello!!!:) ...

....and :wizard: HAPPY BIRTHDAY :wizard: to everyone this week and last week that I missed. (DD was off last week and a snow day Monday, so I have so much catching up to do with housework...and now we are into a busy time with her - with play and dance classes and now into rehearsals.....)

we are doing the usual: looking into local/"more affordable" vacations options (we are going to need something once we all get through May!!! - if only just an overnight somewhere!) ...with the ususal "for that price we could do WDW"....so now considering WDW for Labor Day...we'll see.....:wizard: Neighbors are always wondering why we do Disney every year - I can't understand why they spend so much on the other places and get so much less!

I just want to say one thing before I turn in.............

I really don't want to see any more Viagra commercials....or Cialis......or Bob with his swell of pride with his Enzyte. I don't want to see footballs being thrown through holes of tires or mature couples chasing their company out of the house because their 36 hours is nearly up! Enough already marketing people.....is anything sacred anymore????

Good Night Friends!

You know these remind me of the Massengil commercials with the mother and daughter walking along the beach and the daughter turns to her mom and asks her what to do when she needs to feel "fresh"

I'll be right there with ya MR.

DH hates to dance. DH never dances.
I LOVE dancing and I'm really looking forward to having friends to go dancing with.

Me too! The last wedding we went to DH danced with me once! It was a co-workers wedding so I was at a table with my boss and his partner, my co-workers boss and some other people she knew through working. Anyway, my bosses partner is also a child of the 80's and we had so much fun dancing! He actually was tossing me around so much I thought I was going to get sick.
