then there are the truly teddy bears..types, like mr.V...i wish i was more like him, but alas...my needles get in the way.

Thanks grumpman, but my DW and ST will tell you that sometimes this "teddy bear" springs "needles" as well..............

As you can tell from my birthday post...we will not be here all week! DH (Mike) is out of the hospital. All tests came back fine & he is only required to take a baby aspirin a day. He keeps yelling at me to stop treating him like an invalid. He wants to hit the road & try to get beyond NJ before the storms start to hit. I thank you all for your kind words & support! Have a great week everyone!!!

Been a lovely warm day here on the east coast of the UK went up to 23 degrees

Spent the day doing the garden, planting flowers, and mowed the lawns.

Now if I said it was 23* here David, I'd be shivering in my timbers................ but since you mean 23*C and not 23*F, I'm sure that's quite warm for you...............

Just saw this online for temps in London for tomorrow: 24°C / 75°F Yep, I'd say that is nice and warm!!!

Yes after a slow start it warmed up quickly my car showed 25c this afternoon, and tommorrow might nudge that 24c VM quotes.

Well above average for this time of year and predicted to be above average all summer, very hot, hosepipe ban on its way.

Hi everyone!

Been busy all morning getting errands done before the big rain storm heads this way.

All my fellow disers in the northeast is the noreaster still coming your way?

It was nice in the chat room last nite. i wish I could have stayed longer but I had two puppies that were vying for my attention.

I know some of you know my sister Doreen(Reenieny18). Well today her daughter Jaclyn turns "18". Wow! I can't believe it. It sure ages me.

I had bought her her birthday present(a Coach bag) that she asked for and told her she couldn't get it until today. Well she went searching all over their house looking for the box and could not find it. She even looked at my dad's house everywhere but could not find it(it actually was at my dad's house hidden in his closet. That was the only place she didn't look.

So I would like to wish my favorite neice(who also happens to be my only neice and godchild)

Actually my in-laws - their 40th anniversary is in Oct. By some strange coincidence they decided that they would be in the exact same places as us on the exact same days...

Thanks. I LOVED the tiki bar! La Mariana Sailing Club. It is the last remaining, original '50s-'60's era tiki bar. It was tucked back behind warehouses, but on the water at a sailboat marina. It was awesome!

Pot (or are you kettle) you are so funny girl. Make those faces look more like Janet Reno. Tom Cruise perhaps .....he's scary.......
