Home from the early rodeo performance, will be heading back in about an hour or so. I got this picture during the bull riding....the bull doesn't even have one foot on the ground!

Is it wrong of me to be more impressed with the bull than with the rider? :confused3 I can't imagine getting my fat butt that far off the ground.

As you can tell from my birthday post...we will not be here all week! DH (Mike) is out of the hospital. All tests came back fine & he is only required to take a baby aspirin a day. He keeps yelling at me to stop treating him like an invalid. He wants to hit the road & try to get beyond NJ before the storms start to hit. I thank you all for your kind words & support! Have a great week everyone!!! :grouphug:
Diane my prayers are with you and DH. Have a safe trip!

KAREN

Karen, will you be my Aunt?? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Sure!. Seeing that I have no children but two nephews and one adorable neice. Who have me wrapped around their fingers and they know! I have always spoiled them maybe a little to much but they are turning out to be wonderful young adults. Speaking of nephews my oldest is graduating college(first grandson and nephew) and going on to law school. I am so proud of him. My neice(first granddaughter and neice) is graduating high school)second nephew (grandson and nephew) who is so smart and intelligent and a great chef, yes a great chef. He goes to Wiliiam Sonoma on Sunday evenings when the store closes for cooking classes he is quite the goumet, All the women love him there.

AUNT KAREN :thumbsup2

Hope everyone has a nice Sunday. I hope the noreaster passes you by in the northeast!

Welcome Back Paula

It was great getting to meet you at the meet in WDW, and that pull apart cake was yummy!!! :thumbsup2

Just arrived home, Angelina had to close the store tonight, she got done at 11pm, and has to open the store tomorrow morning at 11am. She also closed the store Friday night, and had to be at the high school at 9am this morning for play practice until 3pm this afternoon. I got exhuasted just driving her around. Thank goodness for Afrin, it's helping to open up my nostrils.

OK, enough rambling, it's time to get some sleep..............

I just stumbled onto this site. I can't believe how long it is. DH and I and our youngest DD are booked on this repo cruise and are so excited. There are alot of Jersey posters on this thread. DH and I moved to Central Florida (The Villages) from Gloucester County almost three years ago. The kids are still up North in PA (just across the river). We do not miss the snow or ice. I was up in PA for snow this past February. It was nice to sit inside and look out and just enjoy it.

I know what you're talking about working in the weather (oh and also about the knees). DH spent 32 years working in the gas department of PECO. He's already had surgery on both knees. The weather just makes your jobs harder. I didn't see him for seven days during the blizzard of -- oh, I can't remember what year that was. I lost track of the number of ice storms he was MIA for. He works retail now and that is not much better on the knees.

But before we can concentrate on this cruise we get to enjoy the Magic in two weeks. The whole family (DH and I, two DD's, one SIL and two of the greatest grandkids in the world) are counting the hours till our 4/28 Eastern. This will be our fourth DCL cruise. Once we get back we will be able to begin that countdown for the repo. But, I have to do it quietly because our oldest DD pouts everytime we mention it. It won't be quite the same without the grandkids but there is no way she can miss the start of school year. The grandkids (they are 2 and 4 now) can miss but they frown on the teacher not showing up for the first week. She is taking a sabbatical in 2010 so she is hoping they run another Canal Repo that August. That one will have the whole clan of us aboard.

All day I have been meaning to start getting ready for our cruise but it was such a beautiful day here - 88 and sunny - I spent the afternoon out in my golf cart. Then I planned on just checking in for a "few minutes" on the boards and now here it is three hours later. I better search my computer for my packing list and begin working on it. When I get back I don't know how many pages I will find here. It will take me months to check it all out.

WELCOME ABOARD!!!

Just jump right in after you get back from your cruise and catch up on the information in the first post. That should help you catch up. :)
