THanks for sharing, M! I will have to go back & look at the rest later. I started getting red Xs. I showed the kids the pictures of the Arizona Museum and we ended up googling to get more information to show them. They have a picture from above the monument that shows the ship. That must be a very moving place to go.

THanks for sharing, M! I will have to go back & look at the rest later. I started getting red Xs. I showed the kids the pictures of the Arizona Museum and we ended up googling to get more information to show them. They have a picture from above the monument that shows the ship. That must be a very moving place to go.

It was beautiful, but not as moving as I thought it would be for some reason. I can't explain it, maybe it has something to do with time and distance, but I expected a Ground Zero, Viet Nam Memorial, type reaction & I didn't get it there. It was still wonderful & I am really glad we went.

DS8 bought a great kids book about Pearl Harbor.

If someone sticks around late, I'll be there. I have to get my house cleaned up, go for a bike ride, get laundry started, and start packing for this weekend. I am escorting DSs (and 48 other Cub Scouts) on an overnighter to the Challenger Learning Center. It's a space/science place about 2 hours from here. One of those deals where you sleep on the floor of the museum. Yup, 50 1st thru 4th graders in robotics and rocketry workshops.
I'm gonna need a really big glass of wine Sunday night!

I have to pick up my own ST from work tonight around 9pm, that's if I don't fall asleep before then, if so, mom will have to go pick ST up.

I'm PLANNING to go into work myself tomorrow morning and do some "ketchup" meter reading. Of course, that depends on my ATTITUDE when I get up tomorrow morning.......................

I did the New Jersey Aquarium in Camden with about 40 scouts, slept right under the barracuda display!

Great photos! You didn't drive on the "Rental Car Agreement Voided" road did you? (I don't know anyone who would ever do that ) We went last August and stayed at the Sheraton Ka'anapali. They upgraded us to a oceanview suite in which the bathroom alone was probably bigger than an entire Cat 11 cabin.

Yeah - and how about all the lawyer jokes!!!! I'm semi-retired + not practicing - I chose to stay temporarily w/my DD and help care for my DGS who has developmental delays (and while my DSon-i-l is finishing school).

WOW both the Zoo and the WAP in one day. sounds like a wonderful time. I am so jealous. Have a great time today.

Oh no - we went to the Zoo one day and WAP the next!!! And, still didn't see all of either venue! Today we went again to DL/CA - in fact the older kids are still there w/my DD while I brought the youngest home. I've loved every hectic, tiring minute of this spring break!!!
