Hi There Everyone!! Happy Thursday!

Can't wait for CHAT tomorrow!!

I spent part of tonight buying trip insurance for our TOAL. We always use Access America on our own because the price is Great!! The Family Basics package includes kids under 18 for FREE (That is is favorite word)!! Well is Taryn will turn 18 soon I wanted to buy it before then. It's not the sailing age that counts, but the age at purchase.

For those of you interested in Trip Insurance and haven't purchased it through DCL, check it out. We paid $116 each for pax 1 & 2 with pax 3 & 4 for free and that's for $12,000 worth of insurance (trip cancellation) and I included a estimated amount for airfare. It also has $100,000 medical transportation and $20,000 medical and dental coverage.

I know we don't like to think of these things (especially cancellation) :scared1: But I really buy trip insurance for the medical transportation. If anything happens to me or mine I want to be airlifted by helicopter to the U.S. if humanly possible!

Thanks MR! DH is usually dead set against buying trip insurance since we have really excellent health insurance that will cover out of the U.S. but after what just happened with his health scare, it is amazing how quickly things can change in the blink of an eye. I am going to show this to him!

Not good Andy! Those things do not cure themselves. :confused3

I know, I just got scolded by two of my co-workers for canceling the appt as well. In my defense, this is the same doc I saw the end of March, so he does know what is going on. He is also the one who told me there wasn't much that can be done for the stiffness in my knees, but the Thera-Gesic has been helping greatly.

I understand but just take care. You know swabbies our age need to be careful. :rolleyes1 Don't forget retirement at WDW! :woohoo:

Wow Andy I can't believe that stuff works so well! I'm so glad you are feeling much better! What a difference from last week! :yay:

I now have one of my co-workers using Thera-Gesic as well. I wonder if I can buy stock in this company..................:lmao:

It's almost time for lunch and then the camp is on!

MR, I found the Disney Ins not as good as the Access America.I've used them for the last 3 cruises and took it for this one. One thing tho, if you have a preexisting condition, the insurance had to be taken within the first 10- 14 days of the initial booking. The diff between the 2 is with the med. Disney cap from what I see for med transportation is 30,000 where I have 1 million, and the emerg med/dent is 50,00 where theirs is 10,000. Unless they have changed their figures since, and correct me if I am wrong, these are what I had in Jan. All I know is my TA didn't recommend Disneys. Yes the upside I believe is if you cancel, you can get the $ back from Disney where I cannot.

By the way, I checked out the medjet site and may consider it next time.

is talking about the taGfairy taboo? as in making her  ?

.....wondering if they have their own set of rules..or restrictions? ,

never noticed the italian's connection.does that means she leaning
towAward her fernch side? * i  the french girls, ..not so much
the guys..they didn't like americans esp. those ...exploring their
landscapes.

 micmse, i think that what women  to think, that
guys thinking magic leads to lost of self controls....women do alot
of thinking, in my book..."great big book of everything", by stanely.

:wizard: ..all know is that i haven't!..abuse my magic powers ....
of course they're not very powerful...being chocolate cover &
all slippery....however, that's why i always admired :wizard:
merlin....[i think the battle between him and the witch..goes thru
alot of proving who does the abusing..remember? she was cheating
poor merlin left and right. ] ...but i used to employ the power of
suggestion....by having a magic bag hanging from the belt line..see?
the ladies had no idea what kind of jewels one could be hiding?
curosity makes the kitty purrrring.

say what you desire, but i think it is very significant how much
you guys grab onto the joys of life..for over coming your health
issues. * i am convienced lonliness is a illness leading to all
kind of emotional pain/trauma. i thank my lucky stars, i do!
for having my lil'mis sweetum to share life with. :love2:

* she refuses to read these sites...i have no idea why....she is
the person in charge..of our arrangemnts....and she cocky too.
there has been times i pointed things out,& not been true..so
i think she suspicious of intent...& she not very flexible. all i
can do is redirect her...it would help..if she was a lil'less right,
:rolleyes1

earlier..i saw some indignation..references....:confused3 , i
would not understand why others would want to say something/
post ..just to hurt. [some are not as clever as they think] ,
& the street usually goes both ways...on our 5 cruises, there has been
those trying to unload their uppity & nauseous projections. others
have recognized it and helped us...*and i do believe in limit setting and
redirecting...this is a cruise of a life time ,for us and my children.
i rather not have to "work"...instead my objective is to have fun,
fun ,fun. * what you "see"..is how iam....i think pretending to put
on airs..is a waste of time. (for me)

hey, micmse....no magic? huh?.....well let me demonstrate a lil'sumptin
from years of gathering....:rose: s, from my lil 'miss cutie pie...
there's alot more to true  then physical attractions. so much
one miss, not taking the time to share the feelings. to this
day, i like leaving lil'surprises for her. [ nooooo, mr.v. nothing to do
with depends..:rolleyes1 ]....

she does not share them with her girlfriends or anyone..but
becuase she dosne't read here, i'll share one lil' thingy.........i left out
a lil kiss & a note...to my girl: who makes every day special....
for me! :flower3: [ funny she reacts today like she did many, many
years ago.] ..anyhoo that's the reference point from the :goodvibes
things your sharing! they make me :) .

now back practicing me pirate: ing! :snooty: does that look right?
...see? all the liberties "i can take" with grammar rules...

Malley is just swell. We need to find a way to stop her from trying to eat the kids, but otherwise good. I think DH & I have established a good alpha male, alpha female thing with her, but she seems to think the kids are fellow puppies, so she 'plays' with them - and that always includes teeth! DH has been running her on his bike, she does OK with direction commands, but missed once and laid him out, BOOM - grown man basically over the handlebars! I'm going to try rollerblading with her tomorrow. I can't run her, she is much faster than I am. Of course, that isn't saying much!

I need to get her to the vet for a check up & shots. Now that I am quasi-unemployed it will be easier. I'm almost done with my old job, but I have a few consulting things lined up to keep me busy until we leave at the end of June.

I love dog parks! We took our old dog to Dog Beach in San Diego all the time.

How is Max obedience-wise?

M :scared1: :scared1: Please Please be careful! I tried this one time down at the beach - I was so :scared1: for my life! Seriously if you do this -make sure you wear the requisite helmut, elbow pads and knee pads. This is pretty dangerous especially with a puppy. My 'runner' is only 38 lbs but she is definitely strong and LOVES LOVES LOVES to pull. As your Malley is stockier and stronger - I just flashed on the damage she might be able to do - PLEASE be careful. Although I didn't really break anything - I just realized how lucky I was not to have when I finished. It wasn't just that I may not have had full control - but there are lots of people, kids, bikes, rollerbladers, etc that might catch their eye and WHAM! off they go to investigate. Next thing you know - your on the floor and then chasing tail! :rolleyes1 Oooppss - can I say that? :lmao:

In the meantime, there is a product called "walkydog" it is basically a short metal pole about 3 ft long with a short bungee type of cord on it - it attached to the side or back of your bike if you have sturdy poles and the dog runs alongside the bike. I paid $20 or $25 for one at a pet show here in CA but they are hard to find in the stores. According to one bike shop - those products are/may be illegal in some states as the pets can get hurt if the ownder doesn't use it correctly.

As I mentioned, the pole attaches directly to the seat pole extends to the side of the bike either left or right - your preference and then the rope dangles sorta like over the top of the dog. You attach to your dog - we use a step-in harness as it covers more of the chest and spread the 'pull'. Isis my little ones just drools whenever we open the garage where the bikes are stored. She thinks she's going running. Chloe my other one - hates it- is afraid to run and runs sideways away from the bike - they are actually about 2 ft away from the bike so unless they splay out they shouldn't get hurt. Whenever we go right on the bike - I give the command and put my foot out to nudge her in the right direction. This has worked well for Isis.

The one time I tried to 'run' Isis on the bike with just a leash - some stranger dog came out and nipped her on the rump and dropped me from the bike. I may have mentioned that wayyy back in this thread. Thank God I was ok but I learned my lesson - only attached to the bike is how I take her.

Oh yeah - micro chip your dog if you haven't already. I made the mistake of letting my DD14 run Isis on the bike this week (while I walked Chloe) and some lady tried to tell my DD that she believed this was her dog that escaped 2 days ago. I finally ran up to her - luckily she'd only gone about 300 ft from me when she stopped DD. After explaining that this was our dog and female - she relented but did several drive bys along with her husband and kids to make sure it really was my dog. :sad2: I feel for her but what's up with stopping a kid - what's really scary is that my daughter got to experience the thought of someone taking our babies and she being helpless to stop them. Now they don't laugh whenever I tell them stories of stolen dogs. Yes - there seems to be a rash of stolen dogs around here - sad as that may be - :sad2: not even our dogs are safe anymore.

Check into your final destination state to see if there are any laws in regards to this 'walkydog' or any similar product. I think that is what the site is called. I love ours and the pole doubles as a walking leash in a pinch or a club when I just walk the dogs. :thumbsup2
