BIP I didn't get the music? Thought you would have a pic of yourself
My DS and I have a disagreement with DD regarding the Myspace accounts. My DD and her brood all have them and we are concerned who they are talking to all the time. They are forbidden to go there from my computers and my DD says she has their passwords and reviews who they are talking to. We still don't like it.
Gotta get ready for

early today. DGS going to our otho to have his foot checked out. The ped ortho keeps saying, he sees something?? but doesn't think it's anything??? Hopefully it isn't but she is tired of his complaining all the time and wants to know if he really is hurt or just looking for attention.I told her I'd stop in on the way to

as it's down the road.
You have to wait a bit for the music to start... and you only get to see pictures if you sign up as my friend (hint hint). Sorry, the music is long so the first time you get to my page it takes a minute or so for the music to load then start playing. I did add a button on there though that you can turn it off if you want.
Luckily, my ST isn't interested in myspace. He has a couple of friends and they IM and e-mail each other but none of them seem that interested in social networking. We'll cross that bridge when we come to it, I guess, but last time I talked to him about it, he said he didn't know anyone using myspace and didn't care to go there.
Same with mine. My younger two have no desire whatsoever or even know about it- my oldest isn't interested. I was afraid she would be after she heard her 10yr old niece had a page, just like she got all into neopets because of this niece (and I was perfectly happy for her entire online experience to be webkins- but neopets blew that out of the water), but thankfully not. I'm glad too because I've seen some other "slightly older" (than the 10yr old niece) child relatives of mine and their pages and what they are posting, pictures they are showing, etc. and it's disturbing. Disturbing enough that I and other family members are wondering if these children's parents (that are also relatives obviously) are aware of what is going on. Someone's about to get busted once my mom talks to their parents. LOL But it truly is disturbing... what some kids say and put on there!
I have held back # 3 from the kids at this point too. DS#1 (almost 10 as he points out) has been asking lately, I may let him if he persists.
My DSs love HP, POC also. We did let them watch LOTR, under strict parent supervision. They had already listened to the first book as nighttime reading (we read to them every night).
Maybe I'm overprotective of my kids but this it the reason that POC #1 we (DH and I) went to see alone and then POC #2 we weren't able to go alone so I went alone. I did buy the DVD of both and they can watch it at home- but we can monitor that... for instance not let the youngest two watch anything remotely gory or scary because we don't want to deal with nightmares later on! LOL it's harder to control that when you're in a movie theatre. So I guess what I'm saying is that we let them watch stuff at home- because we can say close your eyes or go to your room until we call you or whatever is necessary.
Of course when someone wants to reply to one you multiquoted, they need to cut out all the other stuff or you end up with a bunch of disjointed phrases....
You can also hit backspace 2 times when you see the blue screen ("We are not taking you to your post...") and you will be back at the post you replied to.
In the movie business, there is never a "last". It could be the last POC, but then a new set of CJS or similar movies come out. Its all $ and cents.
I have no idea what you're talking about on the hit backspace 2 times stuff. What exactly are you trying to explain there? Seriously I'm lost.
Not too many people respond by quoting me anyway- and the benefits of me multi-quoting far outweigh the very slight possibility that someone might quote me and have to delete out the parts of my post they don't want to reply to.
And poo- a new set of CJS or similar movies? NOT THE SAME. And if it doesn't have Johnny Depp- forgetaboutit. I'm so not interested if that is the case. Seriously.
Hi BIP!!! Glad to see you back to your chatty self!
How is this for nifty? We pay a flat rate for water. Same bill every month. Our meter is in a crawl space behind a wall in our garage - I doubt I could get to it in less than 10 minutes. Not much job security for Andy, but it sure is nice.
Hi back atcha!
Wow that is nifty. I sure wish we could do that here! The only way we can do something similar is "average billing" and I've tried it- you end up paying the HIGH average every month so you're paying more overall and I'm not keen to do that.
Try brackjr
Sending me on a wild goose chase? Because brackjr isn't showing up anywhere -searching by name, display name, nothing. ZERO with that name. ??
Thanks All, I've hit a couple of DIS milestones over the past few days!!!
I did have a good day at work, but it's time to rub the knees down, they still feel a whole lot better then the end of last week. I think all the rain and dampness really put a hurtin' to me, at least today was dry, sunny and warm!!!
Oh sweetie- I hope your knees are feeling better tomorrow!
It would be a perfect time to
poop a brick after receiving that bill..........
Amen to that! I definitely would...
Oh Brack, please don't say that............Hazel and I still use
"Coooooool" quite often ourselves.................
But do you say cool beans?
I do

Good thought for your Dmil...
You'd be proud of me tonight Lisa....
I can actually see the placemats on our dinner room table and threw away 2 grocery bags full of mail, magazines, and other junk....
Now if i could just get the rest of the house straightened out...
proud of you! You go girl...
Now I have to say um... you people better start playing nice before we all get put in the corner. No snarkiness allowed here, okay? please oh please everyone get along. I love you all and would miss this thread dearly!
And I'll ask again... where is our captain?
