Andy has Angelina gotten any paychecks yet? Adam works at our store and I only let him have $60 per week of his check. The rest goes into his savings account. It is amazing how "tight" he is with his $$. He really really thinks about things before he makes a purchase! He is also really good about not spending every bit of his 60 bucks either.

I'm back online and playing ketchup. Just 100 pages?? The boards must have been down a lot. Though I can't say I'm sorry...

We had our school auction last night. It looks like we're down from last year - which was expected, but will still top $100K in proceeds, which was unexpected. It was an excellent event. And, we got out of there 2 1/2 hours earlier than last year - which we were all grateful for. The chairpersons were on site from 8:00am until midnight, or a little later. That's a freaking LOOOOONG day! It was a surfing theme, which made getting dressed easy.

Kaiya is doing great. She "woke up" today. She's been sleeping a lot since she got home - the really deep, deep sleep of puppyhood and old age. Of course the pain meds may have something to do with it. Today she's chewing on bones and doesn't want to spend as much time in her crate. And her incisions look great!

She got her first paycheck on Friday, but it was only for the 3 hours she worked last Saturday. Since she will get paid every two weeks, her next paycheck comes out while we are away. I asked "ST" if she got anything to eat yesterday during her 8 hours shift, she said she had some crackers that were in the breakroom because she wasn't breaking her $20 bill for food.................

Oh, it's almost time to go pick said "ST" up from work, she was scheduled to work 12-5 today, but was also on call to work until 8 tonight if needed, we haven't heard from her yet, so I'm assuming she is getting done at 5.

Paula it's really, really, really BIG!! At my advanced age, I need all the toiletries I can get. I have a small bottle of Downy WR and a big bottle of Downy WR. Since I can't find the small ones any more, I just refill it from the big one. If you remember, I don't own an iron

Glad you have small bottle. Now you have lots more room for blender and booze. I only have big bootle of wrinkle release. I wish I knew about it on first cruise. I actually had to iron.

We hired one a month ago and she wanted $75.00 to clean the house. I figured five hours that's $15 an hour. Well she comes at 6:30 am and is out of here by 9:30. I'm not happy about it and last week I didn't leave the envelope with her pay out, well she just left and came the next day for it. She does do a pretty good job, but I resent paying that much for three hours work. $25 an hour is a pretty good wage. Maybe I should be out there.

Why don't you at least own an iron........you had to receive one as a shower or wedding gift. LOL Mine is the least used appliance that I have

I miss mine also......haven't had her for going on 8 years now.

Nothing much is going on. TV is mostly reruns, DH & DS watching Basketball. I did get out and enjoysome of our beautiful day by cleaning out some of the flower beds.

That would be a very nice Disney reminder for your yard. Sorry you had to pull up your flowers, that is too bad. I was mainly getting the leaves out of there that fell late. Our beds are mainly bulbs that come back. Our daffodills and crocus are bloming now. The iris should be blooming in a couple of weeks. The tulips will be blooming probably in about a month. I want to get some pansies, but we have been in the 80's for a few days and it may end up being a waste to plant them (they don't like the heat). We'll plant some annuals the end of April.
