8/17/08 Captain Jack's Repossession Repo Cruise to PC thru TPC Part 11

the hotel is offering it to anyone who is sailing on the cruise - you do not have to be part of any group beyond that - it was the hotels decision.... the hotels discount. It isn't necessary to know the name - as the discount is not specific to that group.

True, it was the hotel's decision.

However, the hotel didn't just look at DCL's schedule and decide hey let's offer discounts to anyone sailing on the eastbound repo.

Someone called on January 26 and negotiated a group rate.

When many of us called to book, we were asked if we were with "XYZ."

A large number of us were lucky enough to benefit from the rate that person negotiated.

If I offended anyone, then I apologize. I'm not trying to start a fight, but I’m not willing to pretend that a group rate just appeared out of the clear blue sky.

Maybe it's just time for me to bow out of this thread.

I ran into our "favorite" Panera Bread for a very quick bite to eat at about 5PM. I was there maybe 20 minutes max. The program started at 6PM and by 7:30PM I was on my way back home. Annette has the flu and I didn't want to leave her too long. I did think about you all when I stopped there. Next time I'll call!

My DS has his 34th birthday on Saturday (somebody is getting old!). What do you get a 34yo who makes more money than you do and has everythng?

Right now my number one choice is an iTunes gift card.

I used to love to stop there in the morning for a toasted cinnamon bagel with butter on my way to work. Of course it was not really on my way to work LOL. Thanks for the memory.

DS loves iTune cards. That is a tough one, Brack. I always have a hard time buying for anyone now days. I am sure that most of us have everything we need and our "wants" usually are too expensive for others to give us. Is your son going on the TOAL with us? If so get him a room credit!
