All I can say is that I remember taking my younger sisters and cousins to see Star Wars when it first came out in the theatre.(Does this tell you how OLD I am?

Guess that I am old too. I was a kid when those came out in the theater. I remember going to the drive in to watch one of them too.

When will you be at Disney in December? I will be there from 11/27 thru 12/7. I go down every year the week after Thanksgiving. It is so pretty decorated for Christmas. Epcot is beautiful with all the different countries showing how they celebrate the season. The characters are dressed in festive costumes as they travel on the double decker bus thru the park.

If you haven't done Mickey's Very Magic Christmas Party I
highly reccomend it. Snow in the Magic Kingdom at night!!!

We have plans to be there 12/5 - 8 right now. Everyone has cancelled the cruise but we still want to get together. The kids will love it since we aren't cruising with them this year. Or next either.

That story about the hospital reminded me of when dd was around 15 mos old she was really sick with a sore throat. We took her to the Dr. and he told us to try to keep her temp down as it was 104. We had a really long night with her and finally all fell asleep til we heard a strange noise coming from her crib. It sounded like it was shaking and she was having a febrile convulsion. well we freaked! Rushed her to the ER and after they started evaluating her took each of us separately and the social worker interviewed us about our daily routines etc. I got up and told her I didn't like where she was going with this line of questioning and ended my session with her. I don't know what they had in their minds. She wound up staying in the hospital for 4 days til she stopped spiking. They really couldn't give us a diagnosis either other than sore throat. Strep came back neg. Til she was 5 she went thru these fevers everytime she got sick. Did they reallythink we were responsible for her seizure???

What gets me is if you were the type of parent to do that to your kid....you wouldn't take them to the emergency room for someone to see!

Funny ads. I swear the light brown haired guy was part of a improv comedy troop in Columbus near OSU campus about 17+ years ago.

Found him. I was afraid I'd lose sleep. His name's Jeff Gage...He was in an Improv group called "Midwest Comedy Tool & Die" that performed in late '80s - early '90s at OSU. They were great, kind of like paying $5 and seeing "who's line is it anyway" at a college bar. I can sleep now.

Well I see Andy posted all the pictures which is a good thing as I can't figure out how to yet. We all had a really great time and Peter went so out of his way. He had hot dogs and hamburgers, kabobs, 3 different cakes, cookies which he baked and lots of liquid refreshment. Some of the guys are going to the MK this evening as it's open til 3am. Got to put the faces with the names.

Sounds like everyone had a great time tonight!

Update on DD's finger....the swelling has gone down. She can still move it & she says that it feels better today...but still hurts a little bit.

My kids usually flag and we nearly never make it to park closing unless we have a meal in the park, usually we watch a parade and for MK go back to the Polynesian or Contemporary and watch the fireworks from there.

We're the opposite. We've never make opening!
