Paula surprised everyone and had brought this cake with her. Actually it is called a pullaway cake and these were cupcakes made to look like a Pirate Cake. It was also Very Good tasting as well!!!

I posted last week that my DW and I were at a youth conference over the weekend in Morgantown, WV. Here are two pictures of my DW and I presenting some youth achievement awards on Saturday.

Please note the cool shirt that I was wearing which several of the ST's liked a lot! :thumbsup2

I hope that you plan to bring that on the cruise with you. pirate:

The only brand of car that I have owned since 1989 is Chrysler/Dodge.

My father and his father before him were big Chrysler owners. Learned to drive on a 1979 Medium Cashmere Metallic Plymouth Volare station wagon. That was enough to sour me on Chryslers as that car went through three transmissions in six years.

I have driven an Impala for most of the last 8 years but I did have a Ford Five Hundred for a few months last year. It was a very good car. I drove it from OKC to DL and it was very comfortable not to mention good on gas. I'd buy another.

The Five Hundred (now to be the called the Taurus) is what SWMBO has her eyes on. With three kids, we need more room in the backseat and the Five Hundred has a great trunk. My wife likes that it rides higher up since she is so short. SUVs consume too much gas for the miles we put on our cars.

We've rented Impalas four or five times and like those too.

LOVE Jeff Buckley.

Keep up the ketchup J.R.
I think I've found a worm hole! You are responding to things I missed while I was on vacation. So if I respond to your new responses to old responses, we may be able to conquer the space-time continuum.

I think that I am getting scared. :lmao:

OK replacing Hondas with Found On Road Deads is blasphemy.....

(i'll give you a pass on the F-150 though)

We had a huge Chevy full bed pickup before we moved to MD. (We were afraid it wouldn't make the trip) I loved the big red truck. It was an old 1983 that had turned the mileage twice (200K+ miles). There were many snow/ice storms that the truck got us through.

These were the first Hondas we owned. We bought the CR-V because my wife loved it and the Civic because I had to have a cheap work car. We've been pleased with both.

The Accord isn't big enough for our family and the Pilot doesn't have enough trunk space if you do the third row. If you don't want a mommy-van, which we don't due to gas mileage, Honda doesn't have much for us.

My next car WILL be a truck. (This will be the third time in a row where I don't get to pick the next car -- do you see why my wife is "SWMBO".)

Success in Math, Science, Reading etc = girl's dad welcoming you into the house maybe even giving you a couple of $20s for getting her off the phone and out of the house

Success in a band = girls you don't tell mom about or dads doing this

Well there aren't many openings in rock bands for slide trombone players. :rotfl:

Andy--

Thanks so much for sharing your pictures. I *so* wish I was there!

Can someone please direct me to the post that showed all the pictures of someone's WONDERFUL kitchen? It was on this thread... showed a kitchen and dining area that was all decked out Mickey mouse/Disney themed... I wish I could find it again! I so want to show it to DH. It's like my "dream" kitchen... it would probably never work in my house (open concept theme so it wouldn't work with the formal living/formal dining area) but it was awesome and I really want to show it to DH. Everytime I mention to him about how I wish I had some rooms (or hey, an entire house since I'm dreaming- might as well go big with the dream!) fixed up that way- I don't think he envisions it with that much class and looking so nice.I think he imagines the All star restaurant area or one of the resort bedrooms or something. I'd love to show it to him... if I could find it!

Great pictures of the mini-meet! I so wish I could have been there!

Here you go, BIP. Glad to see you around!
