LOL ...thats funny ....if you go to 12 minutes and 19 seconds on DMC and pause you can see the "P" scar and the Tattoo that is reversed from what JD actually has on his arm now ...

LOL! There is a story...Todd can fill in the details. That is JD's I believe. CJS's went the other way. JD got his after the first movie so they used a temp tattoo in the first.

In this Picture the sparrow is correct ...this is an acutal picture of JD's arm ...In POTC COTBP the sparrow went the other way , caus ethe Tattoo was fake ...now that the tattoo is real JD wanted the Sparrow flying towards him , not away ....

I knew that you would take care of that. You have to give her points for recognizing that it was different than the first POC though.

Tatoo talk -
I'm making my appointment this week. I want one on my ankle, so I needed to wait until there were 6 weeks between hockey season & sunshine. I know you aren't supposed to have new tats in the sun & I was afraid my skates would rub my ankle.

Anyway, the artist needs to work on it, but I'm getting something simlar to this with a nautical line (rope) instead of a flag pole and a bit more umm, 'motion' to it.

I'm getting this because it is the semaphore flag for the letter M & very nautical...therefore very ME.

Happy coincidence - it is also the flag of St. Andrew (patron saint of mariners & my oldest DS's name). Too bad I'm not Scottish. I'm hoping that the nautical line I want will make it look less like Scotland.

Ooops I stand corrected ....I went to my DMC files and in fact , they must have painted over JD's real Tattoo and reversed it back to COTBP ...Wow , those guys dont miss anything ....So if I were to get it , I would have to get it with the sparrow flying away instead of towards ...

Thank You Monica for making me look again ..your right , I want the charcter tattoo not JD's ...

My "ST" took this pic of me this afternoon was I was taking a nap on the swing in front of the trailer. This swing is very comfortable, in fact I have taken a nap on it at least once, each day, since we arrived.............

The bit about parents married on 30th is true.

On BBC TV there is a very popular Sit Comedy called only fools and horses set in London. Two brothers Derek (Del) and Rodney.

One lets say thick guy called Trigger, ( sarcasum for fast in fact slow), always calls Rodney, as DAVE. its hard to explain, but over a time becomes a standing joke.

NO one knows why he calls Rodney, as Dave, and in one episode Rodney explains to trigger, why do you get it always wrong, Rodney is named after a famous person called ''Rodney''. and Trigger answers ah so thats why you are called .........DAVE.

Dont worry if you do not understand its British humour, My parents were married on St Andrews day, thats why I am called DAVE!

At the back from left, Trigger, Rodney, (tall one) aka Dave, then Del. White beard is Uncle Albert, front Boyce a east end car salesman and wife, who is a 'close' freind of Del, and many men.

Good afternoon fellow Disers

I hope eveyone is having a good day. I have been watching the weather channel and it looks like some areas are going to have sleet, rain and snow for Easter. What a bummer! I thought we have seen the last of the "S" word.

I am in need of a WDW trip, but the way my schedule looks it won't be happening until the end of May.

Andrew - here in Williamsburg, VA we are getting ready to celebrate the founding of Jamestowne(Pocahontas and John Smith). Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip will be here May 3 thru 5 and then going on to the Kentucky Derby.

Andy - picture is priceless! You were talking about Angelina's Coach purchase. She got off really cheap. I learned this info along time ago when I was purchasing my 1st GUCCI bag at the Gucci store in NYC. The smaller the item the more expensive it is. The reason is that it takes more time and effort to make the smaller items.

I have a couple of Coach bags and the oldest one dates back to 1990. I clean and polish them at the beginning of every season and before I put them away at the end of the season.

Yup. This will be my first. I wanted a tat when I was 20, but didn't really know what I wanted. At about 25, I came up with the flag idea & decided that if I still wanted it by the time I was 30, I would get it. Yes, I know I'm crazy. I'll jump out of airplanes, but I'm afraid of trying a new hairstyle, so it has taken awhile to get around to the tat even though I really, really want one.

Turns out that waiting was a good idea. Toxemia is not-so-good for ankle tatoos. My ankles swelled up to be the size of my thighs when I was pregnant (thunder ankles!), so I don't even want to know what that would have done to a tatoo.

DH had it all set up to take me to a place on my 30th birthday, but the whole thing fell through. Four years later I'm just now getting around to it.
Part of the hang up has been that I just wouldn't be a good mom if I brought my kids with me!

I HOPE I can fall asleep . . .

I like the idea of a tat, I just keep thinking about how stupid it would look when I'm 80! I'm not a committed as you are, but I keep thinking that I could put one somewhere that isn't easily visible.
