Well, shhh....don't tell anyone, but my birthday will have just passed by the time we get there. But I'm still going to celebrate and go get a Birthday pin at Town Hall!!

So is your birthday in the next day or so? Are the birthdays for the week still posted on page 1 (that shows how often I look there)? Of course you still deserve your birthday pin from town hall . . .

Hey Cap'n,

Looks like I'll be getting my Jack the Monkey for my birthday next month. Angelina gets 20% discount working at Build-a-Bear. Angelina told the assistant manager we were going on a cruise in August 2008 and our cruise had a theme, and that I wanted a monkey in gear. Angelina said the assistant manager thought that was cute and chuckled.

You ought to see Jack the Monkey in his Asian Pirate gear ....Its pretty cool ....only 56 hours till the trailer premiere Monday ...wahooo.....

OK I've started cleaning and the first thing is this computer desk! I've got more junk in here; including old programs and backups. I may even shut the computer down and reset it up. I bought some new USB hubs to spread the load around. This is a good time.

I'll check in later.

I did some of that this morning too. We had so many CDs that weren't marked piled up on the shelf. I went thru each one...destroying info that we don't need anymore and labeling what we kept. I also had DD tell me which of their game CDs are too young for her now. Those will be passed on to our friends for their babies to enjoy later. I made labels for the jewel cases for the new programs that I have picked up since the last time I did that. I still hve to go thru the folders & info stored here but at least I have the tedious stuff done.

Tomorrow. Unless they cancel all birthdays for tomorrow. When we were little, my Dad used to tease us on our birthday and say "I just heard on the radio that all birthdays for today were canceled". Now of course, I have to do that to my kids.

I am so not feeling the love....

I was feeling the exact same way I was gone for 8 days.

But then again I'm always talking to myself, since I almost always sign on when nearly everyone is gone for the evening. Oh, well. And Stace I noticed, I thought maybe you had gone on vacation already.

I actually WAS thinking we had not heard form BIP, JustMEstce and Friend_of_piglet at one time and/or another in the past few weeks. Same of Andy and everyone else. I did not know or consider it to be tactful to popint out that a few of us actually "had a life" outside of the DIS (chuckles).... so I ended up focusing on continuing to ketchum as opposed to inquire about anyones temporary absence. Isn't it 24 hours someone goes missing before we call the cops ,,,, and here its' 30 days before the DIS cops or a monitor is flagged?

Aside from all that - I don't want to miss anyone on the "Missing in Action" list... so let me be the first to say... has anyone noticed anyone off this list missing recently??....​

OK if you havent worked it out by now, how Mckey can be in 4 WDW parks the contemporary and Polynesian, Disney Magic and Wonder, DL LA DLP etc at the same time.

Yes The real Princess was busy that cruise, and a girl from London 'filled' in for her.

Hope I do not get her into trouble, its three years now.

It's so fun to celebrate your birthday at DL. On my DD's birthday all the CMs kept wishing her Happy Birthday and giving her special attention. On the Jungle Cruise the boat driver had her up front with him and gave her a map and declared her official navigator. It was really special.

I don't know if you already knew about this but they have a daily birthday celebration where you can decorate your own little Mickey cake and they sing to you and Mickey and Minnie come for a special celebration. If you look on the web site you can get the details. I think it cost $10, but it's better if you make reservations in advance.
