I usually don't like the way I look in pictures. I hate the one of our family, but think that everyone else looks great...so I got it. I wish that I had worn my hair down...found out last cruise too late that I don't like the way I look in pictures with my hair up anymore.

Jay & I had Lifestyle portraits done on our Princess cruise and I had my hair up that night....and am kicking myself. They're great pictures, but I really wish I'd left my hair down. I wonder why that is??

Well, I am a bit nervous today. Mark and I start dancing lessons tonight. Our church offers classes for couples. It is suppose to be swing and other types. I have no dance experience and no rhythm. I grew up in a church that did not allow dancing so I never had the opportunity to learn. I will probably be the entertainment for the rest of the class. :cool1: :cool1: That is probably how I will dance, or maybe like this.

Just have fun with it.

Funny, as I started you post I thought woo hoo a church that's not too uptight for dancing....I mean after all....David danced for the Lord....then continue reading and the church you grew up in didn't allow it....

I am sooooooo bored. I suppose I could work on scrapbook of our first cruise a year and a half ago. Are you a srapbooker too??

Bored here too. The kids are really bad today. Older one always finds things to do. But the little one has his horns up and has been looking for trouble since they got here. I was going to take them out, but I know from experience what the 3 of them in the backseat of the car are like. They will be going back to mom at 5 sharp:thumbsup2
Rain on and off .

I really want a tank top, not a shirt....but will still probably order 2 of each color (maybe 4 if my parents don't cancel). 1 sided, 2 sided, doesn't really matter to me, I'll go with the consensus.

And definitely 2 magnets.

Paypal, ebay, not a problem.

Thanks Esteri, for doing this.

Questions I need answers to include things like:
How many shirts do you plan on ordering? probably 4-6 of each color/design
When would you like to order them? (Now, Christmas, Just in Time)Doesn't matter
Is it more important that you have them at a certain time, or get the best price? Probably price is more important
Is eBay / PayPal a problem for you?No, I have a seller's account if that helps.
Do you prefer 1-sided or 2-sided shirts? Or do you care?2 sided probably
Which is more important, the number of sides or price?Sides
Do you want a door magnet? How many? yes 2
Are you interested in other stuff? What? don't know

We can bounce some ideas around here if we want.

Not sure when I will be home tonight, but I may try to catch the chat tonight too. I've not had a chance to thus far, but I think it'll be fun...

Can imagine how relieved your are Angelina got a job. We will make sure we stop to say hi. I can remember how uptight we use to get hoping the kids would get a job. Makes things at home so much better. Good news on Hazel. I have a torn Rotar Cuff, after three years of pain they finally approved an MRI, not looking forward to this. :scared:

John- good luck. I had shoulder surgery last year. If you are having a standard MRI, it really is not that bad. I actually fell asleep while they were doing the images. (Give me dark and a pillow and I am out.)

I had to have a dye-contrast MRI. They injected dye into my right shoulder to better see the degree of tendon damage. I knew after seeing the needle they were going to use it was not going to be a pleasant experience. Add to that the Radiologist doing had the bedside manner of an ant. Let's just say the Radiologist should have taken his tie off before stepping into the room with me. I kept grabbing it as he was injecting dye into by shoulder. The two technicians assisting did not know what to do, hold me still or pry my fingers from his silk tie.

You will do just great. Just relax and have fun with it.:dance3: I wish I could get my DH to take dancing lessons. How did you convince him????

Funny thing is the church I grew up in is the same denomination as the one I go to now. It is just not as legalistic. We couldn't go to movies, dance, or drink, smoke, or go with people who do. It is so much nicer to go to a church that doesn't judge.
The church we attend now has all kins of fun things to do and bring people in and it doesn't not dilute the message.

Esteri, one more question? Do you know what type of shirt is it.Brand wise. Is it a lightweight shirt or a heavy shirt material? Just a question.

Cheryl, I'll be in chat tonite as well. You will do fine.

thank you, I was trying to remember the name of that one

definitely on my list for the next time I'm in Vegas. Last trip my friends didn't want to pay that much for a show....I really want to see it, I'll go by myself if I have to

WARNING: If you sit near the front, you may become a part of the show!

Yes, I would prefer tank tops too. Wonder if that can be an option?

Well, remember the road rally we did? Mark told our friends they had to go on the road rally and they said they would go if we did the dance class. So we signed up, but they never showed up for the rally, but we decided to go to the class anyway. He is actually looking forward to it. He took lessons when he was a kid.

Lisa or any one else

Question????? How scary is the chat room?????:scared1: Would I at least be able to say hi?? All this modern technology is sometimes too much for this brain to handle.:rotfl2: I have to do movie trailers but thought I would join about 10 central time. Will you all still be there?? I am a terrible typist. I read much faster than I can type.

You can follow along reading very easily. And you could just pop in a smilie every now and then, that's fast!

My bathing beauties--August 2003!!! :thumbsup2

I love this one!!

Are you feeling any better?

Oh, on the printed stuff...a mug would be nice....ordered early....like now...so every time I make my own coffee instead of running out to Starbucks, I can remind myself that the sacrifice is all for the TOAL.

Monica, this is too funny. the couple we are doing the dance class with our going to be grandparents any day now. Both their son's wife and their daughter are expecting so it will be a busy time for them. I sent this her way.

Thanks,

Hey Crew -

I have a quote for the t-shirts... These prices include set up, sales tax, credit card fees, etc. they do NOT include shipping. If there is a lot of interest in the shirts my thought is to put them on my eBay store (not in an auction) as eBay provides inventory and shipping support that will be needed if there are a lot of orders. If we're worried about the "general public" ordering shirts I can put a notice in the item that only folks on the manifest may order and all other orders will be cancelled. If we don't care then I won't. Also, I'll be able to take credit cards through my PayPal account. I figure the ordering "window" will be several weeks long for each order. (Supposing we have more than one.)

I have a lot of questions that need to be answered. I'll put together an email and ask Lisa to send it out - not eveyone on the manifest is monitoring the board. (That would be folks with real lives?? :rotfl: ) Based on the answers I receive I'll know that best way to do this is make the most folks happy.

I also got a quote for door magnets. 3" x 8" (fold a piece of paper into thirds - it's a little smaller than that). I'm thinking one, Just in Time order for them - provided there is enough interest.

And the printer can print up other stuff - bags, mugs, etc. Again, provided there is enough interest.

That said, here are the quotes... (Blast the formattting went away! I'll try and figure out how to fix that.)

T-shirt: Port Authority, 6.1oz, 100% cotton T

---------------50---- 100---- 200
Black, 1 sided $19.37 $15.10 $12.76
Black, 2 sided $26.89 $19.99 $16.10

White, 1 sided 16.30 14.21 12.53
White, 2 sided 23.81 17.98 14.17

Can mix colors to get the quantity discount (e.g.: 25 black, + 75 white = 100 prices) Not certain if we can mix 1-sided and 2-sided for the same discounts. Somehow, I doubt it. We'll need to decide on the number of sides we want printed. (Yes, the Captn is creating art work for both side.) It may come down to how many folks want shirts. A 2-sided shirt at the 200 level is cheaper than the 1 sided at the 50 level.

Door Magnet: 3" x 8", full color digital print on .030 white magnetic material

----------50-- 100-- 200
Magnets $5.40 $4.18 $3.21

Questions I need answers to include things like:
How many shirts do you plan on ordering?
When would you like to order them? (Now, Christmas, Just in Time)
Is it more important that you have them at a certain time, or get the best price?
Is eBay / PayPal a problem for you?
Do you prefer 1-sided or 2-sided shirts? Or do you care?
Which is more important, the number of sides or price?
Do you want a door magnet? How many?
Are you interested in other stuff? What?

You are sooooooo organized. Sounds great!!!! I think cheaper would be the best route. I will need two of each color since I guess I am not allowed to wear my lime green.

Will you have the image for the door magnets??? We took image from 10 day Wonder and glued it to magnet material. Makes it way cheaper.( I have to pay for veranda room some how:lmao: ) I was just e-mailed the image. As for anything else, I am not sure.

I have a question?? Were you ever thrown off? That is my fear! I am afraid what is in the water. I am younger than your mother but not sure I am that gusty.

You'd have to see this to understand it, but once you're on the banana boat you'll "get" it. If you lean in...toward the inside of the BB...you won't fall off. And don't sit in the back.

The last time my Dad did it, he was 75....and he's not an athlete.

WARNING: If you sit near the front, you may become a part of the show!

as long as there are no recording devices....ya know...what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas

except if you wear it home ------ that was my motto on my last trip because I came home from Vegas with a tattoo and my friend got her navel pierced. I talked about getting a tattoo so she dared me and said if I did, she'd get her belly ring....I guess she didn't realize that I wasn't just joking around...:rotfl:
