Good afternoon everyone!!!
I'm here, at work, against my will...I would SO much rather be outside at the zoo or at the park, or anywhere but INSIDE!!!! :sad2:

I went out for lunch, so I got a little fresh air. But I can see now why the thread is beginning to slow a bit...Only the SCHLUMPS like me who HAVE to be inside are actually here DISing instead of playing outside...:rotfl:

Good Mornin' Karen  we are going into the upper 60's today :yay:

:surfweb:

Presently 58 going up to 82 here in Sunny Central Florida

:welcome: aboard to all the newbies.

Txs Liz

Good morning Everyone. I am getting ready to head out to work. I hope you all have a great day.:)

It is supposed to be 74 here today. Think I'll wear a pair of capris.:)

Well...

... if these temperatures keep up I'll have ta get our dog ready to be shaved. He's got enough of a coat that he'd suffer terribly in the heat if we didn't. Plus... some the end of summer his coat grows back an' he looks like a huge polar bear cub!

Nothing like being clearly labelled a SCHLUMP to stroke a person's ego! This schlump is going to have to pick up her youngest at school shortly, which will get me out into the fresh air. We do have some quite balmy weather today compared to what we had been going through, and luckily I've had several nice walks in it so far today. It's so warm (probably 60 degrees or so) I might treat my daughter to some ice cream -- we have a Cold Stone Creamery nearby. . .

Yeah, right . . .

I just noticed that was your 4,500th post . . . how about you take the stair graphic you used for my 1000th, change a few things, and congratulate yourself? You can pretend I went through all the effort to do it for you!

Well...

... it's not as if us pirates and swabbies have had an easy time of it. I still can't figure on how the wenches so throughly "dominate" momentum on the thread. Ya kno what they say....

TAKE WHAT YOU CAN!!!

and... might I add, that I had not noticed the passing of the 4500th posting! Wow... maybe I should pause to prep my lunch now as I had originally intended when I diverted to post a little here...

I get Linus shaved in early June. As you can see, he has quite a coat:

Belle does fine with her short coat:

So where did KidzBop 9 fall on that list?

Wait, let me look...

# 87,426,998

Curiously after KidzBop 7 but before KidzBop 2.
It also beat Hanson, William Hung, and everything by Yoko Ono.

I must apologize for my outburst yesterday. I have since cooled off, and I can only chalk up my frustration to the fact that I was having a stressful day.
But I do want to clear my name (in my defense) to those of you who may think I'm a total witch because I'm not always there for friends and family to babysit...I have been an aunt for almost 12 years. I have been friends with SEVERAL folks w/kids for over 7 years. If it were just one sibling or one friend who occasionally asked for favors, that would be one thing. But I have a brother with 2 kids, a sister with 3 kids, a set of friends with one child, another set of friends with 2 children, friend with 1 child, well...you get the picture. And over the years, we have come to be known as the "go-to" folks for ALL of these people!! And they generally expect free child care. We have been more than generous with our time, and have done so happily and willingly. But we're just having to cut back because we simply feel like we need more time to ourselves for all of the planning and preparations we're doing.

OK, that's all I'll say because I really didn't want to bring this up again today, (because it's really yesterday's news) but I don't want anyone here to think that I'm just being a big ole meanie... :rotfl:

Yes, that's me and yes, I was having exactly as much fun as appearances would suggest . . .

What outburst? I thought you made a very measured and calm description of a situation that could easily turn into one that makes you feel resentful. Far from thinking you are a meanie, everyone felt quite sympathetically for you!

Yep! Looks like you were having a BLAST!!! Looks like you had quite a grip on the ole Cap'n's arm there!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Back from lunch. Only 2 pages to read. I like that.

Is it just me or is the DIS loading really slow?

LOL!!! I know, it looks like he doesn't quite know what to do with all my enthusiasm!!!!

Nice picture Julie! Are you going to pose with Todd for a picture like that.

I think N Twine was sandwiched somewhere in between there as well.:lmao:

O.K. is N Twine the worst band ever on DCL?

We had them in January and they were awful. How does a band land a gig like this? Disney is usually so particular when screening entertainment, I'm surprised they got through.

Obviously the judges didn't work for Rolling Stone. :rotfl2: Maybe it was a group of 14 year olds. But I don't think they'd have chose them either.

Well... it's time again for another round of the ...

7 QUESTIONS GAME....

#1 What was / will be / for LUNCH today?

#2 What would you like for LUNCH tomorrow?

#3 What is the BIGGEST chore on your "to do" list currently pending?

#4 If you could drop what you're currently doing tomorrow and take a day off for doing something else... totally free to do what-ever your heart desires.... what would you do for fun?

#5 If you could have Palo's make you something off the menu... anything at all... what would it be?

#6 What ONE Disney character would you like to spend a day with (or be) in a REAL story sestting ... IE ... you could accompany or be Winnie the Pooh in a real 100 Acre Wood for a day... so what one character would you want to be for a day... and what setting for that characters' storyline?

#7 For your cabin on this sailing... which of these "modifications" would you choose if you HAD to pick one? a) A 70" LCD 1080p HD TV with HD DVD + HD DVD selections. b) a triple sized bathtub with steam, jacuzzi jets, tanning lights and aroma theraphy devices. c) a giant MIRROR on the ceiling and the motorized rotating round bed with vibration baby! Oh yeah... also included are the fog generator, mystery ball with multicolored lights and mood music sound system... and a unified remote control for the whole array! d) A narrow private veranda that runs around the entire permimeter of the ship. All the other cabins on your level have one way mirrored glass... so you can't peer in though.

Thanks! I just know that I have a tendancy to spout off at the mouth when I'm frustrated. :rolleyes1
