Are you the official pharmacist on board???? My son works for pfizer as a microbiologist in Kalamzoo, Michigan. He is in a group that trouble shoots around the world.

I am one of 3 I think. I have already forgotten the wench pharmacist from either North Carolina or Georgia that I chatted with a couple of weeks ago. I also think I remember seeing someone that is in Pharmacy school right now, but will be a full fledged pharmacist by the time we cruise. I really mess up big time not pursuing a career with Amgen here in Thousand Oaks back in the 80's. I could have been in the Walt suite, OK maybe just a veranda. Pfizer is a great company to work for as well.

speaking of adventurous kids and eating

I called my DS in to watch Bizarre Foods on the Food Channel. He normally likes the show. But the first thing they ate tonight was Guinea Pig in Ecauador. My DS was so upset over it he started crying. He couldn't believe they were eating the cute little creature he wanted as a pet.

Sent DD12 off to Outdoor school today. Her middle school sends all of the
6th graders away for a week of sleep away camp with their teachers. We already miss her tonight especially DD6. I am a little worried about DD12 and the food that serve at Outdoor school. She does not eat cheese and after looking at their sample menu most everything is covered with cheese. I sure hope they have cake (sorry my laptop will not open the screen to get to the cake icon :confused3 lets see if this works) :cake: . She loves :cake:. I think that it will be a good experience for her. They are doing science projects and holding other classes outside. Kind of nice not having to deal with 6th grade homework for a week.

We have the same type of thing here...they call it "Natures Classroom", but my DD did not want to do it last year. She is VERY picky about food & she gets very uncomfortable in unfamiliar situations. She went to a sleepover quite a few months back & she called for us to come get her because all the girls were doing is watching MTV & talking about boys & she was bored out of her mind. She was afraid it might be the same type of situation with her bunkmates & she'd be stuck there for a week. I didn't push her, but I kept saying "are you sure you won't regret it when everyone gets back & they're talking about what a blast they had?" She stayed behind with quite a few other kids & they just played games in school all week so she was happy I guess. :confused3

I'd love to ship off my 6th grader for a week! :rotfl:

Seriously she should be fine. Kids are so adaptable. She'll find something to eat. And they'll probably get them so tired that she won't care what they are feeding her. Or maybe they'll have some cookouts. Kids are more adventurous when they cook it themselves.

Monica, I am not really worried about her eating. As you know 12 yo eat
24/7. As long as they have bread she will be OK.

I never sleep much on a cruise so you can crash.:thumbsup2 I will usually be in the clubs at night til 1 or 2.

I don't sleep much on a cruise either but I am in bed a little after midnight because I get up well before the sun. I have to watch it rise because there is something "Magical" about sunrise on a cruise.

Also, one night on the cruise I get up around 3AM to take pictures of an empty ship!

Brack I too am out late at night taking photos. It is nice while taking those long exposures not have anyone around.

He worked for UpJohn which went to Pharmacia which went to Pfizer. I am not sure he will totally agree. He went to India for 2 weeks and was not a happy camper there.:rotfl2:

I wanted to watch that program but forgot it was on.:thumbsup2 Now I am glad I did not watch it.:lmao:

My husband wakes up early on a cruise just before sunrise too.:sad2: It is a magical moment. Hard to describe to anyone unless they can see it for themselves.

Dear DH is lonely. I better keep him company for awhile. :goodvibes Goodnight everyone.

I went on a helicopter ride and I thought that was being adventureous.:rotfl2:

Cheryl...I am past my Zip Line days too. Now I'm lucky if I can Zip my pants :lmao:

Wow that is adventurous! Everytime I step onto an airplane I think I'm putting my life in serious jeapordy. :scared:

:lmao: :lmao:

That we be!

Nutmeg lovin', cake eatin', blended cocktail drinkin', retro song singin', chatty black wearin' Goth Pirates plotting our DCL invasion!!!

You all are so funny.:)

Hope she has a great time. (and you don't miss her too badly)

BTW I ordered the dice game for us to play. I hope it is fun.

OMG M, I forgot beautiful and physically fit too!!! How could I forget those.....(but of course, I didn't forget the
cake.gif
) :rotfl:

Ok, now I know you are just blowing sunshine up my add.

better not post the room number or you might just get some crashers, those of us that can't make it back to our own decks...:rotfl: .....then again, I'm on 5 so someone can just push me down the stairs....:lmao:

That reminds me. If I get lost, somebody roll me towards Deck 2 forward.

But I'm all the way down on deck 2 so I pose a much greater crashing threat!

Safety in numbers, Mary. Safety in numbers.

Do you think we could stop off for :cake: on the way back to our rooms?

Just stay out of my photos, Brack! ;)

I also get up early and wander. Not 3 am, but the ship is still empty between 6 and 7 when I usually roam. Well, not empty, that would be weird, but all the pesky people I don't know and don't want in my pictures are either tucked away in their rooms, or passed out on Deck 7.

Great photos BTW!

If I sit here very, very quietly...

I can hear crickets.

Maybe we should take a big rope and lash us deck 2ers together as we leave deck 7. We can still stop for :cake: mind you.
