It is hot! My DS was so happy to head to water polo practice tongiht. He couldn't wait to get in that pool. It's a nice break after the cold (for us) winter we've had here.

I can't believe I wore black today! :lmao:

Wow Mary I better the horses couldn't wait to get in that pool too :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Sorry, bad joke I know!

Holy Crud, excuse my French, but it's nearly 10pm here on the east coast, where has the night gone? I'm heading off the bed as well, wishing everyone a better day tomorrow for those who need it!!!!! :thumbsup2

Night All

Sleep tight Andy....

Mary this is a great fun pic of your family!!! Now you see that mile high drink you guys have....do you still have the straw.....that'll be perfect for drinking right out of the blender! :lmao:

Oh Mary and I just read about your DD's injury....sorry she got hurt and hope she's better real soon!

Thanks MR! And I did keep the big 'ol cup, but sadly did not think to keep the straw. Talk about poor planning! :rotfl:

Did the horses enjoy their swim, too? ;)

Wow Mary I better the horses couldn't wait to get in that pool too :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

You bet, couldn't get them out of the pool! I sure feel sorry for the pool boy who has to clean up after them. Must be right up there with having to clean out the Mickey Pool after a busy sea day! :scared1: :lmao:

I saw that at ours a few weeks ago. How long do ya think it would last on the door before some "had' to have it?

Of course we could hot wire it to shock the HECK out of anyone who touched it. We have alot of smart swabbies here.....they could hook us up!

Oh that would be mean I guess.......

Hey Enna......great minds........again!

Good Night Paula and Andy!

I pretty much ketchedup and it looks like bedtime for the pirates!!

DST really kicked my rear today.....I felt like I was in a dream today.....and it was Payroll......well either everyone will be very upset with me or VERY HAPPY!! :thumbsup2

I'm starting to wonder, if DST is doing this to us with just 1 hour change, what are we going to feel like 3 hours earlier for us eastcoasters?:confused3

Whats for dinner....................
We are having pork chops, baked potatos and green beans. And it is almost done!

Well after last night's discussion on meatloaf guess what I got a taste for?

So meatloaf, asparagus, mashed potatoes. Just about to take it out of the oven.

In about an hour from now, it will be 2 full days since the last 1,000 was hit. Definitely slowing down from the 1,000 post with in a day or at least 30 hours.

Hey Jeff you gotta remember three big posters are either out of town or soon to be out of town....Lisa, J. R., and Mark, and Lorri is under the weather. The rest of us....well I do think DST time has us all a little tired. The more manageable pace is a nice change and gives everyone a chance to catch their breath and ketchup a little.

Maybe even give some of those lurking an opportunity to jump on in!!!!

Laura,

I heard a CD at my mom's one time. The father on the CD was telling his DD's date he didn't have any problem going back to jail if the boy tried any funny stuff with his DD. I have used that line a time or two myself, you should have seen the boy's face, he didn't know if I was kidding or not, it was priceless!!! :lmao:

I also told Angelina her first date was going to be her Honeymoon.........:rotfl:

She asked if she could go on a "date" when she was 12, I said, "Yea, right, come back and ask when you are 16!"

I'll be rememberin' that line about being willing to back to jail if anything unaccaptable happens with my daughters' when I meet their first few boyfriends...

I was wondering that very thing too Arlene. I feel like someone beat me up today and like you said, it's only one hour :scared1:

Hazel made beef cubes, mac & cheese and green beans for dinner tonight.

Angelina is so excited about her job interview with Build-a-Bear tomorrow after school. She found out they were hiring from friends at school that had just given the store their two weeks notice.

I worked for Build-a-Bear for over a year while I worked at the Disney Store too. I guess I would rather have play jobs than real work.:cloud9: It is really a nice place to work as long as she loves children.:goodvibes Just tell her to be really out-going and talk lots. Wish her good luck!!!:thumbsup2

Yes, i am really enjoying the pace. i was even gone most of the day and then worked into the evening and still was able to keep up. I am not looking forward to the day I can't say I have read ALL the posts. So far I can!:cool1:

I made a huge pan of chicken parmigiana & it took me hours to prepare (especially since I cut my chicken to smithereens & then I pound them very thin). I served it with ziti & garlic sticks.

Best of luck to Angelina!

Helloooooo Everyone and Happy Monday!!!!

Guess what???? I came home from work, exhausted I might add, turned on my TV and it's fried, kaput, finito.

Ran to Best Buy to buy a new TV :scared1: :scared1: at the prices of TVs now :scared1: and while on the way to BB, ran over a nail and got a flat.

I think I better go to bed now :rotfl: :rotfl:

Oh MR I am so sorry! Hugs to you pal & I hope you have a better day tomorrow!

I just ordered 2 sets of these. I hope it is fun. I had a GC for Barnes & Noble that I had forgotten I had.

MR,

I was thinking that - many of the top people out. Are we saying that Lisa, J. R., Mark and Lorri talk too much? :rolleyes1 :rotfl2: It's kind of like work, the bosses leave and the workers just slack off. :rotfl:

Another big poster not on is BIP. Has anyone heard how she is doing? Hope all is well with her.

The slow down might be a good way to lure in some lurkers. And yes, it is much easier to keep up with the board at this pace.

Good luck to her. BaB sounds like it would be a fun job.

Been there Andy. :lmao: I remember the times I lived in Montana and Wisconsin and if it hit 40 in the spring I was digging for my shorts.

Hey Roger,

Where in WI did you live? We live just west of Milwaukee. It's going to be 60* here tomorrow. People here will be without coats and some in shorts. The body gets so use to the cold that 60 feels like 75.

That is the Andy I know from the boards. :dance3: I do think the boys were more afraid of me than my husband. My husband did mention he was Italian and had a violent temper.:woohoo: I surprised my daughter ever married with John and me for parents.:lmao: :lmao:
