Leftover sketties, right out of the microwave!!!

Hello everybody!
I've beenwith the flu since Friday...haven't even thought about touching the computer. But, I'm on the mend and yes, I've resorted to reading the summaries.
I know, taking the easy way out...

Looks like spring might actually be approaching...going to 52* here today and up to the 60s Wednesday and Thursday.![]()
I'm studying for a job interview.
I have a phone interview this morning. Wish me luck!
What is sort of nice is that it is a job I'm interested in, but it is not the job of my dreams, so I'm not really nervous. It is a practice interview!
I hate the whole job hunt, but I'm not discouraged yet. I've only sent out about 20 resumes and I've had three 'nibbles' (phone calls or real e-mails back)
Of course I also have an e-mail folder of "Thank you for your interest, if we don't think you are a total loser, we'll contact you later, if we do think you are a total loser, we will eventually stop laughing at your resume long enough to wish you luck with your future career endeavors."

At least you can drive to one of the cities!
$800 plane ticket for a 'free' movie premier seems a bit irresponsible.

Good Morning all!
Took the weekend off and I will have some major ketchup to do! I'm not crazy about DST. It was too dark this morning. And I too am happy with AR out come. Now if only Charla and her annoying cousin would get eliminated. They drive me nuts.
Hope everyone is warm and happy birthday!![]()
We had a beautiful weekend and it's warm today! Woo Hoo!

Anaheim Hills is located at the top right of this image. I live in Westlake Village which is generally about 8-10" off to the upper left
Anaheim Hills is a good 100+ miles south of us. I know folks in the area and it sounds really bad that they actually LOST 2 homes and evacuated 500 homes. In my area they evacuated a couple dozen homes right down the street from me - but no homes or lives were lost. IF we had high winds then I imagine we could easily have lost a few homes and would have had a lot more homes evacuated. Several years ago we lost entire neighborhoods ... several dozen homes at a time to fire storms during super high winds called Santga Ana COnditions ... if I am correct.
Just the same - thank you kindly for your caring thoughts and concerns. Here is an image of the fire that was just behind our home a few weeks ago. The hand drawn outline is that of our home in the foreground below.

They had fire fighting helicopters dropping water from near by WestLake right on the flames here to save our homes from the fire. Really daring stuff to witness in person if you ask me. Really dangerous stuff at night as low as they were coming in. At this point we are relativly safe from brush fires because there is nothing left to burn in our neighborhood except the houses themselves. And that should not rage out of control even i high winds... but the surrounding open space presents a ripe field where fires can spread widely and threaten a large area at once.
