The Eagle is also the mascot for our township's school district and township as well. The shirt Hazel has on is for our township's summer recreation program. But, we are also Philadelphia Eagles fans as well!!! :thumbsup2

Go E-A-G-L-E-S!!!!

I was on the August cruise when Invincible opened up, my DS and I took it in the first showing on the cruise!!!

The Acapulco Dolphin show. Look how high they go.

AAAACCCCCCKKKKKKK!!! Now I've got that silly song in my head.

So long and thanks for all the fish
So sad that it should come to this
We tried to warn you all but oh dear?

You may not share our intellect
Which might explain your disrespect
For all the natural wonders that
grow around you

So long, so long and thanks
for all the fish

Calling it a night folks. We're heading up to a golf show in Albany tomorrow and then up to Lake George afterward. It will be busy day so don't know if I will be around at all. And Monday afternoon I'm heading down to NYC to the FAO Schwarz store - we have a doll signing for the Last Mimzy (we did the collectible dolls) with some of the stars from the movie (including my personal fav Timothy Hutton) so I probably won't be back on until Tuesday night.

Have a great rest of your weekend and see ya on a flip side somewhere...

1) What did you think this threads' "Topic" was anyway?

2) Do we really NEED a topic (yes or no answers are strictly forbidden!!!) <chuckles>

3) How many siblings do you have?

4) What are your top 2 hobbies / interests?

5) What is the first "favorite thing" about DCL that comes to mind when asked ... what do you like most about sailing DCL?

6) Same spontaneous type answer as #5 above to this query: What do you like about the DIS forum? Be candid on initial thoughts, please. No trite - well conceived replies...

7) What was YOUR first job that paid $ that was not from your parents or a relative?

1. Some sort of vague attempt to see how much of your day you can spend trying to ketchup

2. Would this be the Pirate's Topic, cause I've heard its more like guidelines than an actual topic.

3. 1 each

4. Trying to ketchup and photography.

5. I get speechless everytime I'm asked that, just too hard to get it all out at once (relaxing, kids clubs, no kids cause they are in the kids clubs, PALO!!, Disney Magic (not the ship), ....)

6. Knowing I'm not alone in this OCD (that would be Obsessive Compulsive Disney??) I love the "inside" info I get, can't imagine how the rest of the world goes to the World or Cruising without knowing.....

7. Real $ was working as a riding lawnmower salesman for Sears in the Princeton NJ area as 1,000's of new homes were being built for all the NYC employees - part time job college that averaged about 20 grand a year on 15-20 or less hours a week (for a college kid, that's way too much money....nevermind)

Here is an informal family shot of us on pirate night...thanks to Brack. :)

Lisa this is such a gorgeous family photo. You all look so great! And even though you're wearing your pirate clothes it just seems to match the Christmas theme too. It looks like a Victorian Christmas and you are all straight out of a Dickens novel!

Serious question here....what keeps them from freezing in that position? :confused3

They aren't "up" as in all the way activated, they are flipped up so the rubber doesn't touch the glass, hence they can't freeze to the glass.

Does that help?

Well, DS has had girl friends come over for a couple hours before. He tells me he is going to marry one of them. They have known each other most of their lives. They are pretty cute together talking about it. LOL! Then he is only 8 right now.

:goodvibes
It may happen but you do have a lot of time left.:goodvibes

Before I forget to mention this ....

My Tarheels are "Marching" on to the Sweet 16!

My youngest DS was "engaged" in pre-school. We found out when the prospective MIL/FIL told us about it at a party. We couldn't resist asking the then 3 or 4 yo about it. He was very sheepish but admitted it all. They were going to get married when they got tall. She dumped him a few weeks later for some other boy.....

That's so sweet. We have some of us with Jay's dad before he passed away, he had Alzheimers also.

It's funny.... my mother's father died when I was about 6 months old and my father's father just died this January. Even though there was about 30 years difference, the only pictures I seem to have with either of them are them holding me as a baby!

ROFL! So THAT is what this Disney Scene It will be used for in a few years. :lmao: I finally had enough points to order it & it arrived yesterday. DD was SO excited!!!

We have this game but no one here wants to play me! They think I know too much about it.:lmao:

Life as I once knew it is now officially over. :sad1:

There is a GIRL here, visiting my baby boy.

AWWWW, Stace....I'm so sorry for you.

Suddenly, I'm also thinking that this must be how my MIL feels about me.

This whole "being caught up thing" is just soooo overrated! All right, I'm just jealous, sitting down to see that there have been over 450 messages in last 24 hours. Might as well accept that I will never achieve full ketchup.... lol

At least there are the summaries....

Don't be jealous. We all have different things in our lives that are going on. Just jump in when you can. All of the impotant stuff Lisa puts on the 1st post. Most of the time we are full of fluff (where is cc pic of marshmallow when you need it). It is only me, DH and DS (18) in our household. So he is pretty self sufficient. i know if I had little ones I could NOT keep up.

Tom, I am only caught up from when i started posting on this thread, it may have been on the 31st of Jan or several days later. My DH and DS think I have gone bonkers. But I am having fun getting to know everyone. Last nite we had chat-left there about 1:30 am and knew the board would throw me out around 3 am. At 4:30 am I was at the end. I totally didn't know what time it was, but the board didn't throw me out.:confused3 :confused3
Don't know if they changed it.

I also have insomnia---I wish I could sleep. (I did try to go back & start from the beginning---I gave up)
Sorry I am rambling..........but please don't feel bad. just jump in and have some fun.:)

How cute! DD is quite taken with them as well. This was her first time meeting Prince Charming. We called the reservation the girls' date. :goodvibes

I spy PJ in the background! :surfweb:

DD just asked me to show you her most favorite princess picture of all time. She saw it in the album when I was looking for DS's.

I can see why this is here favorite. It is really cute! :goodvibes
