I am sure that either I or my DW will bring our laptops. Sitting on Deck 9 at the coffee station with my laptop transferring pictures to a CD is still a vacation.

We will probably have ours also.

That reminds me of a totally innocent comment that I made when I was a teen and helping change the toilet seat. Mother couldn't figure out which way to turn the screw so I told her that was easy because all screws are the same.

Maybe we can arrange for those that are planning to bring their laptops (as Crash stated he was) to see if anyone would volunteer to burn the cds fro the memory cards so we don't have to pay so much $ to shutters to do this for us?

We're bringing mine. And I understand Enna has the power for SD7, so while we're out there enjoying some of MR's blended drinks and playing bunco or cards or pirated dice, we can throw memory cards in the 'puter and burn them to CD.

I hat to admit but DH and I will be married 39 years in July!!!! We got married when we were 2 years old..

Two of my co-workers and I started walking for 20-30 minutes at lunchtime this week. We use the parking garage next door. It's not too busy, has even surfaces, and all three of us can walk side by side which can't be said about the sidewalks intown. There's a nice open air level up top to walk around on the nice days and under cover on the rainy ones like today. So I'm proud to say that we actually did about 35 minutes today, even broke a sweat.......





















......then we went back to my office and finished off the leftover nachos & fixings from a party last week.

Oh well... we'll try again next week.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who does that! I have "toes in sand" pictures from almost every beach we've ever visited. Weirdo.

I have a picture of my toes at CC while relaxing on a hammock. I will have to dig it up after I ketchup...some time next month maybe.

Isn't getting spa stuff done while ON vacation--not before--the whole purpose of a vacation?

That's what I intend on doing while on the TOAL - already have my shortlist of 7 or 8 things picked out, now just need to narrow it down to the realistic!

My next DVC trip will be in December

When in December??? I'm planning on arriving late on Friday the 7th and flying back late on Sunday the 9th. Unless I can convince my boss that it's ok for me to be out the 10th and 11th, too. He doesn't really like our dept (Development) to take vacation during December. I can't understand why!?!?

Hellooooooo Everyone!! We're home and everything went well!!! TG. We were there about 4 1/2 hrs. and DH has nine stitches in this temple, but he did not sustain any nerve or muscle damage and can still move his forehead. You know there was someone else there getting a lesion removed from their left temple too.....John asked Dr. about it and the Dr. said the left temple is the driving temple....A good thing for all of us to know. It's a good idea to use either 1) sunscreen daily, 2) moisturizer with sunscreen daily, or 3) makeup with sunscreen daily. After all is said and done, imagine that this epidsode of skin cancer was probably not from a sunburn at the beach, but rather daily driving in the car.....pretty scary huh???

Well I gonna ketchup a while....but thanks again for all your thoughts and prayer for John, he wanted me to tell you all how much he appreciated it (me too)

And thanks for the PSA about sunscreen - I used to be a sun worshipper when I was a stinky teen. We used to use baby oil! Now I make sure that I'm covered. And the driving thing is something I never would of thought of - one more reason for me to never leave the house without my make-up on
