My hometown is on the Travel Channel!
For some of yal this might not be a big deal, but when you were born and raised in Roswell, New Mexico- this is BIG!
Now it would be nice to have your hometown known for something other that aliens but we'll take what we can get. ;)

DS has become totally fascinated with the whole alien thing and has watched lots of shows and of course, all of them mention Roswell. He's already asked me if we can go there to see where it all happened. Tried to explain to him that you can't see anything - can't even get anywhere near Area 51.

Ok ready.. you will have 9pm est since we go to chat mode here..

What is the last Disney animated feature Walt himself worked on?

Area 51 is in Nevada. Roswell is just Roswell.
My family owned the ranch that is one of the sites of the "UFO Landing" for 85 years. We are actually in the "International UFO Museum". Yes, believe it ir not, there really is a museum for it.
Might not want to tell your DS but at least in Roswell, it would be very easy to see the site in Roswell. It is about 45 minutes North of town.
It is a huge involved explanation but common knowledge about what supposedly happened at Roswell is not possible.
It is very interesting situation though.

I don't know about that BIP...

Did you all now he has a tat on his forearm of a sparrow flying over water and the name Jack underneath it?

Yes, but did you know that it's flying opposite of Captain Jack's tat?

Oh don't get me started on Mr Depp

1960's Arithmetic test:
"A logger cuts and sells a truck load of lumber for $100. His cost of production is four-fiths of that amount. What is his profit?"

1970's New Math test:
"A logger exchanges a set (L) of lumber for a set (M) of money. The cardinality of set M is 100. The set C of production costs contains 20 fewer points. What is the cardinality of set P of profits?"

2000's no child left behind version:
"A logger cuts and sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost is $80, and his profit is $20. Find and circle the number 20."

2007's green version:
"An unenlightened logger cuts down a beautiful stand of 100 old growth trees in order to make a $20 profit. Write an essay explaining how you feel about this as a way of making money. Topic for discussion: How did the forest birds and squirrels feel?"

I'm not really one fer much of the rapid fire "shots"... especially of the alcohol variety... so I may NOT be able to take up your challenge on the ship. HOWEVER... I am hosting the 3rd unofficial Mickey Ice Cream Bar Speed Eating Challenge on our voyage! Care to take up MY Challenge? Space is limited and available on a first come first served manner! TWO catagories prevail seperated arbitrarily by age.

For the last two sailings' I had the award certificates signed by the Captains of the Magic or Wonder!

Tom, that sounds like fun:cool1:

Yeah? Lucky you. I'm jealous. It was late to bed for me and early to rise, with hardly any sleep in between. This stupid medicine for the cough is keeping me awake. Haven't really sleep in a couple nights but I am starting to feel better. I just need to stay awake during the day to enjoy it.

I am glad that you are feeling better. Hope you get a good night's sleep tonight.

Jungle book is right!

Walt Passed away in 1966, and although Jungle Book was not released until a year after, in 1967, production had completed and it's the last movie Walt himself worked on.

Walt did approve the next project, which would be 1970's the Aristocats, but other than approving the project, Walt had nothing to do with this film's actual production (well other than his influence of course!)

Speaking of SQUARES....
