Maybe, DC won't be all bad.
It warmed up to -4 right now.
OK back to work.

No really.

I'm very motivated.

DC weather can be really nice. Spring is always beautiful but ......

the summers are always humid! Usually 100% humidity all summer. Even George Washington once commented about the humidity of DC. :confused3

I think I would like to experience your current locations weather for a few days but that's it.

OK, it's 82* in the house and I'm nearly tempted to turn the air on.........Hazel and Angelina are on their way back out, and I think I'm going to catch a quick Power Nap.............see y'all later.............

I opened the back door to let a breeze in. The DISDog loves it.

I would take his sweater off if they hadn't used that sn*w word!

Everybody wants to be a pirate! pirate:

I am sooooo dreading that - for many reasons. I hate humid. I'll take -20 over humid any day.

Also, I'll be easy to pick out of a crowd. I'll be the pasty-white girl with a 'fro!
Ever seen the Friends episode where they go someplace tropical and Monica's hair gets bigger and bigger in each scene? DH was trying very hard not to laugh while giving me sideways glances when that episode first aired. :rotfl2: Been there, done that!

I think your answer is a little low. You got me to relook at my answer, however, and I think I was a little high. I treated it as 2 puzzles and added together, but that would duplicate many squares.

I think in addition to the outer squares, you need to look at the 2x2, 3x3, etc. starting with the squares not in the outer corners (i.e. cell Row 1, Column 2) and then you need to move over or down from there.

My new method, let me know if I double counted again, would be to do the smaller square puzzle, yielding 66,729, and then adding 29x4, 28x4, 27x4, etc down to 1x4 and then adding 1 for the full outside square. The ?x4 is because you would have 4 sides with different starting points for the 2x2, 3x3 and so on larger squares. The reason you don't square it is because you would double count inner squares of that size.

Doing this I come up with 68,470.

Maybe that's why I haven't been on. I've been on a hunt for little tiny squares...

Has anyone heard from BIP???? I haven't seen her post in a few days.:confused3 BIP if your out there, please let us know how you are doing.:flower3:

Search Google images and I found this one (and others) for the wenches.

Since I don't have much time to keep with this thread I wanted to ask if anyone else has gotten a stateroom assignment in the last couple of weeks. We do as our TA must have booked first thing in the morning but friends of ours are still on a GTY

What's an assigned stateroom? I thought it was just going to be on a first come, first serve basis?:confused3

Lorri so sorry this sickness is running rampant through your house. Hope everyone is feeling better soon! :grouphug:

Thanks Diane! DS is back to normal this afternoon and is going back to school tomorrow. He missed one day of the state math testing today but will be able to make it up next week.

Okay, back to playing ketch-up - see ya all shortly!

Make that Hazel's Depends now........................:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Actually Hazel has now started on her new medication but we have to wait and see if it starts taking effect.

We just arrived home from the mall, looks like Angelina will be starting at B-a-B "beary" soon. The 2nd interview today went very well, she was told she should hear something within the next day or two. There were six girls at the interview session today and all six of them were told they did very well with today's interview. The girls also made a bear in the store and had to make a story about the bear. :)

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Great News. Tell Angelina congrats.

Wow, brack, what's the occaision? Are we celebrating something? Or is this just the usual evening rum?

It's warm outside and I can smell Spring!

.............. and I would love some rum:cake:!

Morning!
I couldn't get back on at 11:30 last night and gave up. I guess we keep breaking the boards:rolleyes:
Andy hope everything goes ok for both Hazel and Angelina.
My dh has something like that going on but we actually think it's certain foods, but we're trying to get him to have a colonoscopy which I'm pretty sure is not going to be easy. After all, we don't want them stuck in the room during the TOAL!

Yuck! I had colonoscopy a year and half ago. Had already been diagnosised with IBS and had done the med's and they seemed to work. Then one day out of the clear blue I thought I was going to die - I had the worst pain ever in my left lower stomach abdominal area. Thought it might be something girlie and went through a bunch of tests - nothing. Regular doc refers me to the specialist who run a gamut of tests on me - catscan, MRI, MRI with contrast - in the midst of all this discovered that I have gallstones (which explains my near 0 cholosterol) and something on my liver. Finally do the colonoscopy (never want to do one again!) to be told that I have nothing more than a spastic colon (TG). In the long run it's better to go through the stupid thing to make sure that it really isn't anything more serious.

Of course this is another thought about wenches ......

NAAAH! I like the other wenches better.

Glad to hear your DD did well with her surgery! pixiedust: for a speedy recovery!

Finally do the colonoscopy (never want to do one again!)

Did I like doing this? NO!

Will I do it again? Absolutely!

It is so much better to know either way .... early! The quote earlier in this thread was: "Aspire to retire alive". I may have that wrong but that is the essence of it.

Actually it was: "Aspire to Inspire before you Expire" but I like mine better! :lmao:
