On ours from the last cruise thename tag has the Dis name andthen under it the real name --- for youngest dd it has my Dis name and then her real name under it. That way you know which Disser everyone belongs with! LOL!

I will make the tags all the same and when it comes to personalization people can put whatever they like....
(I will start in July asking for names etc....)

I'm curious if her quote of "June being mosqito season" is for our entire trip or just for this port. I had not thought of bug issues, so should I be stocking up on my avon skin so soft sunscreen instead of regular???

I saw the electronic book demo'd at the JavaONE conference last month. It seemed pretty cool. My DW wants one but needs to check what books are available before buying.

Yes. But, only until the 4th -- we needed the weekend at home to unpack, wash clothes, rest, etc....before starting all of our classes/work on Monday!

Just another really quick check-in. I have my bags packed, have to get DS's done tomorrow. We leave early Saturday morning for San Pedro.
Not sure yet if I'll do a trip report in that section of the DIS, or if I'll just post on the 6-8-08 Magic & Mickey to Mexico thread. I'll try to let you know, in case you have questions. Otherwise, check both sites.

Funny story...we are DVC members and for spring break this year we invited my sister and her 2 kids, my nephew 5 and my niece almost 2 to come with us. She wasn't sure about the whole thing, but decided to come along. Well we had a great time and all 4 kids got along really well. We were very sad when it was time to come home. It was only my sisters 2nd trip there and the first for her kids. It has been two months since we have been back and every time I call my sister I ask my niece what she is doing today and she says "I go to Lando?" Every day she tells my sister that is what she wants to do. It is too funny. I am hoping they can come to DL for a couple days with us before the cruise.

Good Morning everyone! TGIF! Red Wings parade today at 11AM. I may venture out. I'm not a crowd person. People were camped out at midnight to get a good spot! Crazy. Thankfully I have monthly parking, my lot is charging $20 today!

I asked about that and they said it is up to the publishers / authors which books they are going to allow to have this option. They did say that most new books will be there

I researched this one and the Sony one but I think I like the Kindle better for a couple of reasons.
1. you don't have to download the books to your pc first
2. they are backed up on Amazon's servers

I know what you mean - that is why I am struggling with it but I thought it would be a great option for traveling since I don't have to pack a bunch of books and with all the new weight and luggage restriction this is a perfect solution for those of us that bring more then 1 or 2 books along

I saw that about tomatoes on "The Truth About Food" on TLC or something. They made a woman that was very white and burned easily all the time eat tomato paste every day. There was a noticeable difference.

Hey everyone I wanted to let you know some information I just found out about Airline check in on the ship. If you are flying a carrier that charges for the second bag of checked luggage, you will not be able to check more than one bag when you do your airline check in. You will have to either put the second bag out and get it in the terminal or just take it off the ship with you and go through customs. You'll have to check the extra bag at the airport and pay the applicable fees. I'm checking to see if the carrier allows you to pay online for the second bag in advance if you will be allowed to check two, but I don't have an answer yet on that.
