any of your Professional Disney Cruisers have packing lists to share..

I could have sworn I bookmarked some or that I had seen a few of you post yours on the ZONE... but I only see the one PDF file

I went to my Walgreens and got 1 bottle of Nutragena 70 spf - I was charged the real price of 9.99 but did get the freebie...
Sure wish my dollar store would have had the product M's had. The have had nothing....

Any Philadelphia area pirates interested in a Mini-Meet?

I know it's short notice, but if anybody is available, we'd like to have you over for an afternoon cookout/pool party on Saturday, June 28th. If you're interested, send me a PM and let me know.

Delaware pirate: here.... We are interested in a mini-meet. It would be great to meet other pirate:s from our area... I just PM you for details. Georgiana

I'm going to check my PM's now. Our internet was out yesterday, and I had to go right from my rotation to DD8's dance recital dress rehersal.

Anybody else who is available and interested, let me know.

That's so sweet!

Kevin and I were married 29 years ago today. But we'll be doing our real celebrating while we're on the ship in Aug.

Congratulations!

Is anyone interested in a NYC / NJ mini meet sometime before our cruise?

Depends on where and when, but if we can swing it, we would be interested. We'll watch for details!:thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :dance3:

I guess this is the time and place to confess... I am addicted to ice cream.. chocolate of any variety and especially chocolate ice cream.. wanna find me anytime.. look on deck 9 at the ice cream spot.. for the lady with the big cup full of ice cream sundae..

Me too. I compensate with sugar free :rotfl:

Hi everyone!

Arlene,

We received a post card from our TA Chuck today. He was on the west bound crossing. It was post marked May 16. I know that several people using him received post cards. I wonder why ours came so late. Could it be that we called him 4 days ago asking when we would have room assignments (we're still GTY)

I can't find a postmark but it was dated the 16th as well. Love the FE. What is on the pockets?

Cheryl, I had my thyroid checked about 9 years ago and I was hoping for an easy out too! No such luck, I was in normal ranges.
.

I asked my Dr and he said sadly that was one of the first tests he ran and no such luck.

Just wanted to say thank you for all the well wishes on our anniversary,it means a lot! :lovestruc Didn't do much really,Mom and Dad took us to the Golden Corral for dinner tonight or as we call it...The Pig:earseek: Out, I bought Kevin a cake and we came home and had dessert, tomorrow's another day! Like I said earlier, the trip is our big present to each other. As we both celebrated our 50th birthdays in the last 6 months as well.

Wow ...

... you guys have CENTURY of experience under your combined belts! Imagine that! Oops... Alicia and I are not very far behind as we've got a combined 90+ years too. So, we're not too far behind with "accumulated wisdom"... that IS what we can call it, eh? :goodvibes

Gee.... I guess this must explain why my grades in school were less then straight "A"s... but then again... this does not explain how Alicia always pulled better grades then me when we were in school thgether.

Last summer on the Med Repo - I indulged in a session w/trainer on the Magic and he set up a program for me - it started w/walking up from deck 1 then a session on the treadmill and then weights circuit.
I didn't gain any weight over the 14 days of Over Indulgence!!
Did you do this program every day ? I thought weights were suppose to be only every other day:confused3
I would love to maintain my weight on the cruise without dieting:lovestruc
Was the treadmill running or walking ?

Airlines are very frustrating to deal with now or actually always.;) ;)
We are staying at the Marriott right near LAX. It is the DCL preferred hotel other than the Disney properties. We are taking the transfers from LAX to the Port. The rooms was $139 a night but I got a senior rate!!:woohoo: :woohoo:

Just when I thought I was safe...AirTran changed my flight time to a 10:30 am flight out of MCO. There go my cheap flights with no 2nd bag fee:headache:
We checked other flight times and prices and it doesn't look good:worried:

We started summer camp today. It was so nice to remind ourselves that there was NO homework tonight:woohoo:

Funny, I'm actually worried that if I open a book on this cruise that I will look up and find the day almost over and the entire day spent reading. I tend to have a hard time putting books down once I start:confused3
I need a book of short stories. I've read some of Steven King's books that had short stories, but I want something a little lighter to read for this cruise:rolleyes1

Anybody have any suggestions:confused:

My DD's teacher was giving her math homework right up until the last day:headache:
She wanted them ahead for next year, as if they would retain it over the summer.
Sooooo glad she is done with this teacher:cool1:

:cool1: That is awesome! I am proud of you. Keep up the good work. I think a few of us are talking about getting together in the morning to walk/jog around the ship. Are you also interested?:cool1:

Can I join..? I started a WW group at our school after our state offered to pay for WW for state employees. Lost around 15 pounds (still trying need to lose another 20 or so) ... and I would love to walk in the morning.

ATTENTION ALL BOOK READERS

I'm curious if anyone is concerned about also dragging along enough books to read while we are onboard? I was curious if we had enough people to bring a book or two and switch off with others so we can all have enough reading yet not have to bring a bag of books along.....thought that if there enough of us interested we could offer up our reading choices and/or books we could bring along that others would enjoy also.......any takers? Or does anyone have a solution of how you are bringing books along with you if you are bringing several of your own?:beach:

I'm interested in exchange/sharing books.

Hi Laurie,
The treadmill - I walked - my knees can't take running!! The weights - its a circuit - so you can do them every day. (Or you could concentrate the sets and do upper one day and lower the next)
Also, Monica & I regularly walked around deck after dinner.

I really enjoyed the treadmill w/my iPod and looking out at the ocean!! I thought about getting some audio books to listen to this time.
